My Salad Days

A tinge of jealousy tugs at me
          I watch them laugh
             and run and play
       And recall MY salad days

Yet those treasured days live on
          in my lifestyle now

‘Cos all they let me eat today
          ~ is salad anyhow

salad has been a mainstay in my diet for decades....helps me feel full, eat less, and keep my weight down...sometimes, though, I yearn for a thick, well done piece of steak and a potatoe latherd in butter. Yep a southern gal at heart

Not forced to, but the only way I can keep my wait down -- no dressing...yuck! Times are changing. Older Older.
