Tutu For the Rhino Please

Rotund rhinoceros, short chubby legs
Gingerly walks between old ostrich eggs
She is full of sass
As she makes a pass
Please get me a rainbow tutu, she begs.

Pumpkins

Fat, oblong, rotund, roly poly
elongated, flawed, stubby,
dented, dusty, malformed
oranges globes - scattered
helter skelter - in rows
of farmers' fields...

Appreciating Hilda

Rubenesque Hilda loved her ample rotund girth
As did her enamored husband, Charlie McMirth
She was corpulently rounded, and forever fine.
Charlie often said “I am grateful that Hilda is mine.”

Beautiful Round Confident Sheva

Sheva honors her rounded body
Rotund and beautiful, she flaunts her stuff
Like giant rounded bullseyes, she admires her circular curves
Her art is a reflection of her self confidence and power

he had expensive tastes

the cat was Rubenesque
He was rotund
He was round
He was stuck up
We thought he was hilarious
He had expensive tastes
Insisted on only the best treats and foods
His wives were not laughing

None Would Contribute

None Would Contribute

None ever would contribute to the fund;
This was sad and meant to be moribund,
Then took a pause;
Became lost cause;
Died with excess weight and being rotund.

we do not all want to see that

Pompous yam stuck his tummy out big and bold
It was not a young fresh belly, rather rotund and old.
He is so arrogant, he thought we would all like to see.
His rump-like rounded tummy; he’s full of idiocy.

Too Much Meat and Bread

she cannot get into clothes anymore
prefers a blue mumu or sweat pants
red meat eater from Iowa
well-fed with carbohydrates
rotund and Rubenesque
waddles into rooms
squat and stocky
overweight
chunky
bulk

Elsie's Cat

Two magpies were devouring the remains of Elsie's cat
which was as flat as uncle Charlie's welcome mat.
It wasn't always so; once, he was a jolly ginger rotund fellow.
Now, alas, poor Bobby is a giant squished marshmallow.

Trump Moribund and Rotund

Trump Moribund and Rotund

Trump said that he is both  clear and orotund;
What he amounts to is really being moribund,
A total lapse,
Then collapse,
And at same time he had been rather rotund.

Munches on apples, grapes, corn flakes 'til pops
Can't catch a young male
They all just run_bale
For she is rotund and just falls ker-plop

Warming Her Pearls

Warming Her Pearls
by Michael R. Burch

Warming her pearls,
her breasts gleam like constellations.
Her belly is a bit rotund ...
she might have stepped out of a Rubens.

Chew Chew Matt Kung Fu Cat

Chew Chew Mat the Kung Fu Cat
Was roly, round, rotund and phat
She challenged every cat around.
Threw them into the air and onto the ground.

She was as fierce as any feline I had ever seen.
Her face was wide, her eyes were green.
She slammed me into the chair right away.
Okay I said, Let’s get this on, let’s play!

The Midnight

.

     Dark and preserved
          the midnight
   with all of its radiance
             the Stars
   and the fullness of the
              rotund
            the Moon

Oh how our arms wrapped
       with unyielding
 while our lips betrothed
       in anticipation
                of
          that bright

Din-Ner?

“Ah, the din,
How could one not love
the robust ramblings of humanity?”

Families full, ripe, rotund,
fostering love amongst the feast,
the forage sublime.

Babies squeal.
Mom’s scold.
Dad’s strut, so proud, so bold.

Ah, the din of happy times,
times of feast and fellowship sublime.

Ah, how food makes love shine!

we call them babies

their skin is a different color than anyone else’s in the room; a color
reserved for babies. Even toddlers do not have this kind of hue.
they are rotund; they have the fullest tummies. They are unbelievably
stinky when they spirt out their mother’s milk. we call them babies.

babies are puffy
rubenesque and full chubby
squared up and farty

he is so rotound and rubenesque

Shawn was full of blarney most of his youthful days
with his full face, his emerald eyes and his ginger hair
He sang Irish ditties in knee slapping ways
When he had too much beer at the Dublin fair

He is so rotund, so Rubenesque, so big, some said.
Santa Claus is too, said his wife, her head totally red.
She liked everything about her chubby happy man.
Loved him completely, as only a second wife can.

Ripe

                      Rush of intense flavors
                          Rally passions of taste
                             Rich ecstasies that peak
                                Robust, flushed perfection
                             Rotund shapes do excite
                          Rippling drips, lush fresh bites
                      Richter scale of delights

Luminous Loves Venomous

Applauded performers in dayspun course
Embezzled by orbit, to variance succumb
After venom scalds sun adoring audience
Moon's butter churns mother cow rotund

               Accusations pacified behind eclipses
Rays of interrogation with dusk relent
Voyaging moon melts in mineral elixir
               Ocean encumbered by dawn's lament

The Tears of Stars

I marvel at the tears of stars
that loudly blush as they pass Mars

Toward earth they fall in streams of dust
on cosmic winds that swirl and gust

No doubt it seems a madman’s tale
a rotund lie of cosmic scale

I ask you though, with much chagrin
please wake that child that naps within

Though hard to see with grownup eyes
The puerile heart unveils their guise

Near tranquil ponds where sorrow feeds
they land and spark among the reeds
