Elsie's Cat

Two magpies were devouring the remains of Elsie's cat
which was as flat as uncle Charlie's welcome mat.
It wasn't always so; once, he was a jolly ginger rotund fellow.
Now, alas, poor Bobby is a giant squished marshmallow.

Thanks, Robert; it just came into my head as I saw two magpies eating some carrion while I was driving along.
