Caught Him By Autumn

Of it all, we finally  got to the bottom;
Leaves start to change in the autumn;

No one can see the kingdom of God
Without being born of water and

Roman Catholic Returns
I have a tremendous fear,
It causes my shoulders a great burden,
A burden of flame and eternity,

I stand here now,
Proclaiming myself to be a fool,
I pray the faith welcomes their sheep with open arms....

Meeting With An Old Lover
We had a very mad affair
But that was years ago
Now we are both turning grey
Our eyes have seen sorrow and pain
It was good to see her
We come from different traditions
I am a somewhat observant Jew
She was raised a Roman Catholic
Does that matter?
Some would say yes, others no
I guess assimilation is on the table
But I have been to Israel and that changed me somewhat
Well two souls conversed this afternoon
I don't regret it...
