LET ROCK
ON A REINNEY DAY
Ian Scott Anderson
as a flautist loved to have fun
in prog. rock he wasn’t dull
and gave us Jethro Tull
A cat that crosses your path
brings good luck to the pocket
A rock that knocks your left toe,
announces danger ahead of you.
Down by the rock pools
My hand gloved in your wrinkles
New discoveries
Starfish, crabs and mermaids purse,
Squirting sea anenomes.
I would give everything I own
Give up my hat, toupee, and comb
I would give everything I own
Just to scratch your back again.
make my boby talk
make my boby walk
you can bet
it need sex
none stop
it makes my heart beat
ROCK
ME WITH GOOD SEX TO SLEEP
The earth is dampened
Flowers are being planted
Rocks surround the plants
To protect all the flowers
losing the dirt around them
Babies,
Babies
Like to get rabies.
That's the way babies rock.
Writers,
Writers
Like nice highlighters.
That's the way Writers rock.
Turquoise, earth, air, fire water;
Gaia’s treasure’s a pleasure;
A chemistry lesson and
A guardian stone.
a large, old, gray rock
is in the brush on wooded land
stand on solid ground

Under dappled light
It waits off a country road,
A short bike from home.
On it rested a boy's world.
Grown up now, my rock I seek.
For every rock that I help skip across the lake-
There are a thousand that will sink.
And those stones don’t want to be disturbed.
Ripped souvenirs tucked like debris
Old rock preserves them through history.

Underground sparkling stones birth and mature;
Precious rocks to be cherished;
Look, they split the lights rays.
Frog sits on a rock.
Swallows a huge frightened fly.
Slips and falls, kerplop!

A solid rock my being at the shore, braving life’s misfortunes that break upon!

ROCK ROCK YEARS CLOCK
How must I feel to be a rock,
with neither feet, nor shoe, nor sock?
I only pray for God's goodwill,
that I may, one day, roll downhill.
Marshals oh so loud
And massive in their stacking
Make the Rock Stars proud.

One rock cast from the quarry
of the great unknown
Freedom just another way,
—of being alone
(Villanova Pennsylvania: March, 2017)
Ancient Metronome,
Keeps beat with streams steady flow.
Brings perfect rhythm.
For Raul's contest "Rhythm of the Falls" Thanks again!!
Craving Skinny dip
breezed to the stream on full moon
stripping emerged out
stream dry as rock, my wish died
check water before you strip.
Loaded blue-eyed woman
On the blood wheel
Three-legged train grinds
Mindlessly delicious cuts
Sweat gently littering the floor
Rock Bottom
Brimstone's red glow, hot
Burning sulfur rising up
into the sunset
Inspired by Raul's photo seascape!
Thank you for the inspiration!!
