Faith, Hope, and Love

Robed in white, I walk –
Towards love’s bidding; humbly,
I give you myself,
And take you as God’s great gift.
With Faith there's Hope in our Love.

Premium Member I Felt Elated

Hitchhiking to Halifax,

a friend offered to go with me.

I felt elated, he was my hero!

Then he robed me,

and it hurt like a punch in the gut!

Universe

Silhouettes of trees
Robed in fine beads of stars
I'm unseen tonight
Like a phantom galaxy--
Talking with the universe.

What An Adventure

“Wander Lust and The Need For Adventure”

Showered in soft kettle-drums
Music softly eddies
To purple robed hills
Melody wanders toward
The streaming chant of
Mediterranean Sea.

Premium Member Changing Face Winter

Autumn’s nakedness
becomes robed in virgin snow
footprints prove there’s life,
yet the secrets of springtime
in hibernation till birth.

Ill In Bed

Left in a darkened room
Alone, but for them.
Thoughts; which more demanding
For your attention
Now crowd round. Long-robed sages.
With serious miens.
Debate life's meaning with you.
Its deep attraction.

Lord Know Your Pastor

The stained glass windows of
The Old Southern Baptist Church
Blinked both eyes at,
The black robed pastor
Today, we need a testimony
Glorifying these wings of glory
Hallelujah sweet Jesus
Everlasting grace, amen

Premium Member Spring Days Like These

Spring days like these
Were made for katie ruellia –
Who is royalty among flowers –
Robed delicately in purple.
She's arrived at the festivities –
The trumpeters blow a sennet.
Her crown is the leaves;
The butterflies – her subjects.

I Am Conscious

I am oppressed,

suppressed,
enslaved,
robed and raped.

was thrashed,
insulted and killed.

but I am alive,
by my conscious,

I won't surrender,
and compromise

don't they know?
Who am I ?

I AM _conscious
and conscious never die____

Acrostic Word

Grey-robed ladies materialise at castles
Hideous red-eyed entities hover in woods
On horseback, headless riders gallop past
Silently, spectres watch and cause unease
Throwing objects at exorcists, spirits laugh

Maybe She Didn'T Know

Robed in the garments of alabaster hem, was she the matron of ethereal divinity; the sovereign culmination of a hallowed hand, caging my only begotten heart, was it unbeknownst to she, my beloved bearer of me. "

Two Monks At the Temple Gate In Anji

Amidst saffron robes nail-bit hand reveals
mobile
phone

Laughing-robed companion brandishes
ice cream
cone

Shaved-headed naughty boys practice
chanting
tones

Humble golden temple gates peeling paint
stone on
stone

Winter Wistfulness

Winter Wistfulness

				Stillness prevails.
				Adding to the hush
				  of a cold-snap night
				is the crystalline presence
				  of snow.

				It descends.
				Brilliant-robed beauty
			 	  enfolds the earth,
				penetrating the shadows
				  with etherealness.

Ocean Puja

Swami~
The Ocean cast garlands of pearls
at your Lotus Feet
Varuna the Sea god knelt in awe
I stand in that vast azure temple
surrounded by a choir of waves
all singing Your divine name
while the morning sun performs arathi
the earth and all its inhabitants bow
robed in light

soft the moon robed in yellow
loft of clouds...her home's halo--

Premium Member Oh, Mother Mine

scatterer of blooms
on the green everywhere lanes
mother of colors

in dark yellow dawn
or purple pansy dusk robed
in butterfly swarms

mother by blue lakes
in a green fascinator
with dragonfly queen

oh mother of song
fresh from saffron southern skies
moonlight's in your hair

Catastrophe

Apart from you I'am nothing but at the helm of catastrophe; wayward, in a clouded storm that's avowed to sojourn the opaque sea robed in the disregard that drowns in its tumultuous waters, where many have sank in its despairing courtesy, despite its many warnings.

Black Mass

wretched hands hold
the christine cup passed amongst
the black robed circle,
aloft to the lips of the languisher
as her scarlet sleeve shrinks.
grieving, wailing mother
watching it writhe,
it writhes,
a baby bloodless,
it dies
& this cold night, the blood,
it dries
to our moon-lit lips.

All things will be made new.
The past things are in the past.
Death and crying and pain are thru,
Decreed by GOD like a trumpet blast.

From heaven the new land will descend-
GOD’s dwelling for man in His holy city.
It is our new home built for love without end-
Robed as a bride divine and pretty.

Premium Member Promise Of The Message

Bright opalescent sweeping wings of God's angels of
an airy region,
gleaming robed angelic legion,
such celebrant tidings of messages they bring,
promise of kneeling before the throne of the
Holy One, the Lion of Judah, they sing,
Hail our King, He we adore,
He has salvation for us in His Kingdom
forevermore. ~

Premium Member A Modern Place

As the sun rises over the ocean
And breezes swirl the palms
My thoughts turn to when I was young
Not that long ago this island
Was a different kind of place
Now every inch is robed in condos
Gone is the quiet of solitude's grace
Gone is the simple gait
A new era has entered
Where life is a noisy honky tonk pace

Premium Member Graduation Day

It's the end,
final years of study and play
      descend and
become one day
robed in sameness -
echoes from another verse of
"Is That All There Is"
haunt in deafening degrees.

Somehow, this journey of
joy and tears is truly
    the extra credits -
yearbook scribbles
  "To a Great Guy",
become tomorrows ponderances
and todays commencements...

Akira

Over the sun, the robed angel,
She sat on her giant throne,
Turning the days with her soft hand,
Her ring would reflect onto the eyes.
Of her followers as they watched her,
She sat many milleniums turning,
The day to night, but the cruelty of man,
Left the blonde seraphim ravished.
She fell off her high throne,
She plunged into the ocean,
And left a rainbow in her wake.
