Robbie, When He Was a Young Lad.
The midnight clock cuts hours into the dark
that picture of you
sound asleep
one dream ahead
as children always are.
Little Robbie, you colour my tired mind.
Opening gates in long forgotton child meadows,
where once I ran through summer grasses,
now it grows for you....

Robbie Burns Et All
Awful

       Gob full...

                 Wrawful

                          Offal.

                       Haggis up for an awful gob full;

Toasting the bard with wrawful offal!

Robbie's Lament
Robbie will not bump no more
The dance is dead he knows the score
For the AFL it’s sad to say
Has made the rule just run away
For the best training film will be
Brave Sir Robin run away you go free.

With apologies to Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

For those who follow Australian football.

What I Write
Apparantly i should have a style
I don't know about that...
Sometimes I feell like Sylvia Plath;
Sometimes Robbie Burns.
But all the time I feel like me -
And my mood.
Does that make me a lesser poet?
I don't know...
But I do know
That I
May feel sad one day
But happy the next.

It's a conundrum!

So many poets
So many styles...
Sometimes feels like
An 'Unquiet Grave'....

Robbie's Cherished Love
The person Robbie cherished more than life
was Rosalyn, his friend and then his wife;
but as he worked she dated other men -
including Stephen, Richard, John and Ken.
So Robbie left and found another love,
but got so jumpy and suspicious of
the guys she knew at work, and thought that she
would leave him too. He's now on number three...

written 1st April for Constance's Cherish contest...

Happiness Is Shy
Thou canna call on happiness
It has’ta call on thee
There is no happiness in a glass
When through the bottom ye can see.

When happiness comes a knockin
If ye dinna let it in
Cos it may not be stopping
But that’s a grievous sin.

Happiness is shy my boy
You have t’a invite it through the door
Then ye can makes friends wi it
An sup happiness ever more.

Here comes Robbie the Elf with skills of a nitwit.
All of the rumors says he is resilient, and never will quit.
We all call him Robbie the Rhythm Man, this is his nickname
He is reliant, resourceful and repetitious in fame.

The reason we all know him, and this is the truth
Is he once out-sang a robin, her name was Sweet Ruth.
The wizards all remember that day, some say overdue.
Sweet Sue got huffy and angry, so this story is true....

Robbie Sucks
robbie gryner is such a hoe
i wish he would just go blow!
The way he cheats and sneaks
he should just go be mystique.
how could he hurt a girl like that
i just want to crush his fat!!!!!
His nose is too big, his lips too thin
i just want to deck his chin!!
He acts way too oddly
and he is just so ungodly.
I think about it way too often
how i want to see him in a coffin.
We shouldn't be sad
on how we saved ourselves from being had.

I LOVE YOU KIM!!...
