Hahaha such a so cool poem Maureen. I'm randomly going back to whatever page of your poetry and then reading one of your poems which title I like. Not to my surprise this is a beaut!!! I once attended a Burns anniversary of some sort, and ate the haggis. As if it were more sacred then Burns himself, they brought it in with a piper playing. I actually don't remember the taste, but then maybe my brain is trying to erase that which might make me spew lol.

LOL! I forgot about this. would have totally denied attempting a tyburn, not sure I got it right. I'm totally up for haggis.if it's pastured. ;),

Yup, Scottish. In fact Robbie Burns Day (jan25th) competes with St Patrick's Day for filling the British themed pubs in town, there's a lot of them in Ottawa :) haven't tried haggis, but I'm game!
