Robbie's Cherished Love

The person Robbie cherished more than life
was Rosalyn, his friend and then his wife;
but as he worked she dated other men -
including Stephen, Richard, John and Ken.
So Robbie left and found another love,
but got so jumpy and suspicious of
the guys she knew at work, and thought that she
would leave him too. He's now on number three...

People who are involved with more than one person over time in a long term relationship usually carry baggage from relationship to the next. If you have two people carrying that baggage then their might not be room for a good relationship at all. Enjoyed reading your work. Reads like a good contender for the contest to me. Way to go. Thanks for all the visits to my page. Sara

Jack congratulations my dear friend - poor Robbie will he ever settle down and not be suspicious, when a trust is broken, it is difficult to trust again. Great poem. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

So, Jack, it appears to me that Robbie has a rather shallow concept of "cherish," but, OTOH, I can see his paranoia about women. I hope #3 works out for him.
