I painted a new bird today
neon pink, flashy blue, marigold yellow
long sharp pumpkin colored beak

His angels grinned.

Greatest Holiday Gift

The greatest gift I ever received,
Was hearing my mom was Cancer-free.
She was able to spend Christmas with us,
And we rejoiced in the miracle that it was.
A gift from above.

Recurrence

Rain drops rejoiced ....
It relished its fall from the womb
Cause of its inception
Also rejoiced...
Because he only pulled it up .....
Just to see its recurrence.
Thus he taught us “Life"

Broken Shell

To my slaughtered memory
that fainted like a fading flower.

I rejoiced on the day your corpse
laid on cold hand of death.

I was glad,
never to see you rise like smoke.

But tonight, your patience
broke my shell.

     Amens echoed from every rafter

          The preacher rejoiced

               Then this plea he voiced

"Fill up the collection plate hereafter!"

Chilling With Rain

Chill by beach of Pitas.
Rain comes in a heavy task.
Return home to a break.
Another night to medicate tired.
Thanks Allah we intend.
Well-intentioned we are blessed.
Preach in the village of Rungus.
The Maulud rejoiced.
Kota Marudu we go.
Still raining until while ago!

A Piece From the Whole

He was a false captain
steering lost ships into his harbour of iniquity...
She was a Venetian vessle,
seeking refuge in the arms of oblivion...

& Somewhere in the distance, chaos rejoiced
with masked tears, and Bacchal fury voiced:

"All things must end as they do start-
such is the story of the broken heart".

Bob Dylan

Born to sing to write to share
Open arms give courage no despair
Beautiful lyrics he shares with us all

Dance with joy when his words start to flow
Yearning for peace in this dark time
Listen carefully to music and rhyme
A man so young raised his voice
Nations wised up we sang we rejoiced

Premium Member Crow Hoe Down

The crow rejoiced in the field today.
Husks were popped open with maize showing through.
Crop was up, smiling in her special way.
There was so much corn, what could a young crow do?
He held a hoe down, invited twenty-two.
They danced their claws off; they were heard in hell.
Enough corn to keep them through the winter spell.

SUN MET RAIN

One fine day when sun met rain
There was thrill on every grain
Heaven damped the ground with kiss
Earth rejoiced in soulful bliss

The smile of the shining sun
Filled the world with joy and fun
Sun and rain with their glow and chill
Gave the blissful spring a thrill
