Happy As a Songbird

Happy as a Songbird

days of hard rain fell
yellow tinged silence followed
birds rejoiced in song

....couple weeks ago, it rained hard for days here in Minnesota,
movement ceased for a few days...then life renewed!

Enjoyed the Haiku...Sometimes when it rains it seems everything like man hibernates then when it is over they come back out to live again...Thanks for the comments on my work..I appreciate you taking the time to do that...Sorry that I am so long in returning the comments for I have been out of town..Sara

Jim re your query I would say the technical form is a rhymed 'trochiac tetrameter',four stresses in eight syllable lines.A talented lady indeed.Best wishes with your writing endeavours.Rgds Brian
