Premium Member Over Regulation In New York

His tendency to overregulate
New York sites, they rehabilitate,
Comes down from the mayor
A quick money player
Makes some of us want to regurgitate

EU is a massive spider
Kills initiatives
A headless bureaucracy
Casts a web
Of rules and regulation
Sniffling
Freedom of expression
Killing Europe
By strangulation

Hell

Is there anytime to live without expectation?
Is there any place to live without regulation?
to be one self with out loss of self,
may not appear in a world to disappear,
hell shall hold a special place for me,
cause even the blind can stop to see,
I'm just as bad as anyone can be.

Premium Member Mindful Healthcare

Spiritual minds
invite healthy natural bodies
to curiously enjoy safe and significant,
secular and sacred, rhythms
of bicameral co-regulation,
trilateral ego/eco/theo-communication

Further embracing polyphonic
rightbrain resonance
exploring leftbrain polypathic resilience

Of spiritual minds
inviting healthy natural bodies
to curiously enjoy...

With software the devil possessed
They've outsmarted EPA's test
So avoid the behind
Don't inhale near the hind
Of Volkswagen's diesel “skunk” pest

Author's note: A case for more, not less, federal regulation. This is an example of what is wrong with underfunded federal agencies and our reliance on self-certification. Meanwhile, what happened to all that carcinogenic air?

Running With Scissors

The dangers of health and safety
Cannot possibly be overstated
Because yesterday I tripped over
A pile of paper H&S related

It's a minefield of regulation
I've bought a tsunami plan
And six fire extinguishers
For a one-man-business band

The ludicrous requirements
Are completely over the top...
Soon I'll have to wear safety goggles
When I vac the floor and mop

Premium Member The Olympic Spirit

    A long time ago, grandpa told me
       amateur athletes crossed oceans and paid the fees

    Every four years a noble spirit arose
       emblazoned on a torch, fiery and free

    A spirit clear, shining bright and true
       the Olympic spirit, one that cut through

    The claptrap of power, regulation and rules
       crossing the finish line in brotherhood

Ocean City 2001

for Jake

He is a sun-bronzed god
reigning in my heart,
with his regulation
golf course hair
and sturdy legs;
winning smile, and
eyes that reflect mine
except that his twinkle.

He stands, indignant and proud,
with all the power his
5 1/2 year old ego can muster.
He is sweet with the affection
only an innocent heart can bestow.
He is my best work.

My only son.

Rain of Tears

Tears are dropping as I cry,
As I see red stars in the sky.
My cheeks become a bit dry.

Both my eyes frowned,
Just because I got stunned.
Inside me, pain pinned.

Proud off, I lost my pride.
My tap has been spoiled inside;
Water is flushing loosely outside.

Regulation has gone grudgingly,
As my water is watering waste plants,
Causing more tears on my cheeks.

Premium Member Shivering Heart Trimeric

The vestige of a shivering heart
a tremor through your whole body;
It’s difficult to hold your balance
regulation starts to plummet;

A tremor through your whole body
igniting violent cold creeps;
Nothing able to make them stop;

It’s difficult to hold your balance
when your guts are a frozen flutter;
Regurgitating all your remains;

Regulation starts to plummet
until your hands settle on your chest,
calming the ripples on your skin.

When with the bayou they're messing
BP says, "Oh what a blessing,
The mix will be fine
Add vinegar from wine
To make a fine salad dressing!"

Author's note: In the end; BP will pay close to nothing, and the rest of us will be stuck with
the cost of the environmental damage. To the anti-government regulation libertarians: this
lack of reason in law enables rich and powerful companies to get away with theft beyond
imagination. Death to the Tea Party!

Unmasked

The Mayo Clinic has a rule
For visitors which states
That everyone must wear a mask –
Not open to debates.

Yet our V.P., when stopping by,
Felt he should be exempt.
For policies outside his realm,
He seems to have contempt.

Informed before his visit
Of the masking regulation
He defended his position
With a bogus explanation.

The White House sets the standards
Which serve only to incense
So we shouldn’t be surprised to see
Such disregard by Pence.
