upon the new planted garden
drinking refreshments

Premium Member People Who Make Quick Assessments - Wbm
Title: What’s Bugging Me – WBM

People who make quick assessments
Who never bring the refreshments
They make me so mad
Being such a cad
I give them none of my best-ments.

The Neighbour's Nest
Neighbour likes to look into the neighbour's nest.
they want to know what's happening wrong or best?
they regard them on the basis of their assessments,
they share sadness or happiness to celebrate refreshments.
sometimes progress made them mad they nail hate,
in the absence of parents they abuse children for dates....

Premium Member The Farmer's Market
The merchants rise
In the early morn
Preparing their wares
Then setting prices

The people enter
Looks around them
Selecting their choices
Before their purchases

Snack bar refreshments
To refresh themselves
Then begin again
For lots of bargins

Tired merchant
Soon ready to pack
Anxious to be home
To count their cash...

Robust Remembrance
Rivers rinse rocky riches
Rockets race revolutionary reaches
Rudeness rusts royal rewards
Righteousness reflects real ranks
Radios recreate retro refreshments
Relaxations restart revolting ranges
Roadways route routine regulations
Rational rage renders realisations
Restaurants reap ripe reviews
Readers remember robust resources....

Summer
Splendiferous in all her ways, Summer
Utilizes every color, every scent, in mesmerizing beauty,
Melting light into shadow, blending skillfully her arts,
Magnanimously giving us treasuries of memories.
Excellence her standard, her table bountifully spread,
Replete refreshments for the body, mind, and soul.

Reviving Refreshments At Week's End
smiling
so glad to be home
sixteen hours on my feet straight
no breaks....no air....no water
you kiss me home

laughing
so glad to see you
eighty-six hours total just completed
no days off....hardly any sleep....nowhere near enough time
i kiss you home

exhaling
two weeks until major trip number two
taken away by the instantaneous imagery
no preparing....no alarm clock....no rushing
we kiss each other home...

Premium Member Hi New Neighbor
You are invited to join my muse and I
We will be spying on the neighbors
As they step on fireflies and do quirky stuff.
If they elect to do any creepy eating of frogs
or junk like that we will collaborate on poems
outing their antics. Refreshments will be served
if you bring them and I hope you do. You are being
invited only if you bring your homemade peanut butter
fudge. If you don’t have any, please disregard....

Premium Member Watermelon-
Wholesome refreshments recharge.
All comers rose water baring
Tropical fruit desert for lunch or dinner snack.
Early strawberries shine watermelon rimes.
Raw fruit laugh.
Much fruit waters run.
Edible fruit shine.
Like fruit shout.
Other refreshments run.
Nectar feeders walk drips down your chin and mouth.

Mind Over Matter
As you get older it becomes plain
Your mind still thinks you are 21 years old again
For you think you can still run a mile and kick a ball
But your legs just ache and the kicking action means a fall

Fun and excitement is all you have now as stories are told
When having a few refreshments with your mates of old
As we gather around a crackling fire snug and warm
And remembrance and exaggeration is in true form.

Where the Wind Blows
Do you know where you’re going?

Maybe … or Maybe not …

To a place composed of turquoise and fuchsia rainbows and humming birds?

Ha! An opaque arc and wingless beauties---

Down a road layered with marshmallows and lined with hot cocoa pumping stations
every .25 mile.

No, wells that pumps out alkaline refreshments for the weak and thirsty.

That’s it! I’ve got the answer – anywhere you want.

And I say, anywhere you don’t!...

Premium Member Fall Need Not Creep
No need to creep in surreptitiously
as if you were not longed for
You turtlenecks and warm wool socks
are dashing in or out of doors

Sensing that I'd tired of green
    your refreshments I adore
  Crisp burnt-orange and fiery red
leave me thirsty for some more

Though soon you'll trade the dew for frost
    replace iced tea with hot
Precious Fall: Take center stage deservedly
~ for 'creepy' you are not...

Your Love
It all begun I should have been overstrung however the puppy love begun

Wasn’t matured completely to acquire any alcoholic refreshments from any liquor store yet the love I grown for her was drunk

Can I overcome what we could had become

Months of squeezing you like a sponge, love was easily squeezed out like a sponge

The expense you pay when your in love I need a refund

That thing termed love for me is out of sight I’m done.

Premium Member Green Grass Faerie
Green Grass Faerie had a mystique that paraded around
In front of her as she surveyed her grasses above ground
She arrived in April, bringing refreshments in the form of dew
Causing verdant chaos and Kentucky grasses, blue.

Green grass faerie had a pact with miss violet, unique.
They appeared together, but the flower knew to only peek
For spring is overseen and managed by Green Grass Faerie.
Who retains power until middle June, taken over by Faerie Berry....

A Visit To the Movie Theater
A Visit to the Movie Theater

By Elton Camp

Seeing a movie isn’t so dandy
Without popcorn, drink, candy

The theater manager firmly vowed
No outside refreshments allowed

Else, this place can’t survive
By those sales we stay alive

It’s no surprise that people still try
With the lobby prices set that high

How much popcorn can I get for a dollar?
“We don’t sell just one grain,” they holler

So when you go to the refreshment stand
Better have some twenties in your hand...
