A Visit To the Movie Theater

A Visit to the Movie Theater

By Elton Camp

Seeing a movie isn’t so dandy
Without popcorn, drink, candy

The theater manager firmly vowed
No outside refreshments allowed

Else, this place can’t survive
By those sales we stay alive

It’s no surprise that people still try
With the lobby prices set that high

How much popcorn can I get for a dollar?
“We don’t sell just one grain,” they holler

So when you go to the refreshment stand
Better have some twenties in your hand
