Aquarius

Always smile, giggling
Quiet, you wish
Unusual ranting
Are you insane
Rain falls down
I dance in it
Until the end

Trump Tales

A Yogi was ranting in Parma
How Trump is interpreting Dharma
For goodness' sake
Give Trump a break
Nobody on earth wants Trump's karma!
Form: Limerick

Unhinged

Trump comes unhinged
every twenty-four hours,
ranting and raving.

"I am the victim,"
he says, but can't you see he's
getting crazier?

Ranting Fish

I can hear
the ranting fish
talking
far below

Feelings are
just feelings
says the fish

And nothing
Is more
accommodating
than water

Who

She spins in silly circles,
Ranting in ridiculous rhymes.
Giggling, giddy, and girly,
Forgeting fabled fears.
Twinkling tears tug heartstrings
Of her lover dear.

Confession of a Poetic Wannabe

Everything around me
Turns into poetry--
But badly written.
My brain foams
Like it was bitten
By a rabid dog
Or like an angry mob
That doesn’t know what it’s ranting about.

Requiem of the Rising Sun: March 11

Concrete cracks
Bridges snap
The sea descends
            Ranting and raving
On all our heads

She throws cars like pebbles
Smashes lives
Leaves mud and broken families

Beware the Road Rager

Zoomers and weavers
Tailgaiters and speeders
Scream and yell, you can all go to he** ....
Until they get past you,
Then they start their ranting and snarling
All over again!

March

March roars in like a lion seeking

Attention with its hard cold breezes

Ranting and raving like some lunatic

Carefully the sun calms the lion transforming

Him into the sacrificial lamb

Premium Member A Lovely Fate For the Irate

Senator Kristen Sinema negotiates only in private
Which drives her colleagues and reporters crazy-irate

I think if America had 49 more Senators like her
From all their ranting and raving the rest would demur

She had been stalked
Dark thoughts draped in silence
Ranting
Gnawing
Suckling
At the breast of doubt
Whimpering
In the shadowed suffering
Of idled indecision
Held hostage
By the blank page

Road Rage

Roaring round roads raucously
Orally overtly offending operators
Acrid antagonistic adjectives aired
Defiantly daring distracted drivers

Ranting raving railing
Aggravate annoy atrocious
Gregarious gone Goebbels
Exacerbate engage enrage

Cycle Broken

A child so alone
Loud ranting
The thunder rumbles.

Chaos

The cycle continues.

The storms that rage through the young girl's ears
Becomes the rage that storms through her heart.

A child of her own
Quiet prayers
He calms the storm.

Peace

The cycle broken.

Premium Member A Tease

Melancholy chimes,
a dark silhouette;
Doleful burlesque doll,
soft splatter of sound
pulls tears from her eyes;

Fall into pain
dance on sadness;
Risque ranting
stains that lace bra;

Revealing
everything
naked twirl;

Pouting
is a

tease.

Pressure

pressure, temptation, healing, scars.
So much agitation, so much nerves.
Everyone is so pissy, makes me wanna cut.
No incoming money, none to pay my stuff.
I wanna go back, to the place where im at peace,
no ranting raving ********, to tear piece from piece.

Puberty

Public opinions that
Undermine the ground on which we walk
Bedeviled only be enticing jeers
Emotions that are vexing are laid-out with a cuss
Ranting & raving "The world is out to get us!"
Taking in sustenance over parental spiels
You've not forgotten how it feels?
Form: Acrostic

Second-Guessed

Three innocent children by cancer stricken
touch a Samaritan who then offers to help.
But a dark-hearted joker comes charging in,
ranting the gesture is a result of liberal guilt.
Oh boy, what has this crazy world turned into?
even good intentions are second-guessed!
Form: Verse

My Alliteration

Morose, mellow, and mysterious, my mind has made
An alliteration accented around random assets
Of ranting, riveting raves renewed
To try and tackle tiring thoughts
Whilst wanting with wonder to withhold worn-out wittiness
Which can kind of, if continued, come out quite corny

Premium Member Ravishing Rosie

Ravishing Rosie Redbud raced red roadsters rapidly down the roadside.
Racing recklessly, Rosie Redbud rammed Roger Reynold's red ranger,
resulting in ruined wrecks and a raving, ranting Roger.

Ravishing Rosie wreaked havoc with tongues.
