How and Why

Asking how and why
But without a true calling
You won't understand
How to push through the pain and
Why to believe when it rains

Spring Haiku

Long forgotten bulbs
push through soil moist with spring rain
               bursting with colour.

Blockade

My mind is cloudy
And seeming to tighten
Flashes if anguish
Pain, torment and loss
Overtake my life
Nothing is easy
Not even Denial
Must push through this
Through the blockade of indifference

When You Know Nothing

When you know nothing the complain is probably had I known but if you try to push through then you will agree that not only knowing matters but to know and simply to be positively influenced by knowledge is the matter.

Two Frogs

I once bought two frogs from uptown
I elected to name One and Two
Such fun to see them hop around
Although One croaked, I still haveTwo

A sad event I have to push through
Ever since the day that One died
I always keep Two by my side!

Ethree Vs Life

Life
can knock
you down but
just get back up
and show how you won't
let the bad things destroy
what you can become because
everyone's future is full of hope
you just have to push through the darkness
until you find the best path full of light

Ambition

breed a dream
breath life into it
feed it faith
help it grow
teach it patience
nurture and protect
let no one
step on your dream
for it is yours
yours to love
rise above
push through
always be true
customize
realize
bask in
the warmth of
fortitude

In the Night

containing the stars
lighting the whole earth
cold, dark, spacious skies
enlightening moon
rolling clouds push through

song birds go sleep
now crickets chirp
the unexplained
new games to play

shooting stars
relaxing
wave of peace

pressing
shadows

night

The Fight

I am a warrior
strong and true.
In the midst of the storm
I always push through.

I am a warrior,
I stand up and fight.
I never back down,
my wings will take flight.

This is my moment
to live out my dream
fear cannot hold me
now matter what things may seem.

Live Your Life

Live your life

Soak up the sunshine
Dance in the rain

Go run the marathon
Push through the pain

Take the chance make a mistake
Learn the lessons and see what you gain

Live your life don't just exist
Experience it and ware it out and you won't die in vain

Go Around

Go around
You know where you are bound
And don't push through
It will be easier to do

When it's a tough spot
Know what you have got
Deal with it on your terms
In the end it will be stern

But you will learn
Even when it burns
Go around
You know where you are bound.

Ecstasy Awaits

While each breath is exhaled
In synch with the strike of second hands
Patience becomes an unwanted friend
Nearing, we hear, we tempt
With life given to the depths
As our eyes seduce our minds

Death to the space between
As we push through and past
To become a floral arrangement
In the vase of passion

Lighten Up

tears of sadness
tears of delight
fall from my eyes
pain and loss burn deep
whereas tears of joy
carry hope
soft voices spoken
in love and lust
may roar in anger
destroying the soul
tender touch of a hand
raised in wrath and hatred
weigh heavy on your heart
lighten up
push through to the light
make sense of your life

Breathe

Just breathe,
He's not worth your tears.
He took your innocence,
He broke your heart, you don't need him.
Let go.

Exhale--
Take a deep breathe.
Your heart will heal in time.
You deserve someone much better.
Not him.

Inhale,
It will hurt now;
Your heart will ache for now.
Heartbreak is such a painful thing.
Push through.

Push through the trials, the tribulations
Really trusting God with your situation
And praying fasting with constant dedication
Your heart committed with the mind’s application
Instead of being lost to lust find celestial celebration
Never loosing sight of the heavenly light anticipation
Godly ways despite hate groom character manifestation

A Painful Addiction

when you start to cut the skin around it puffs,
crimson like the sky
horizontal beads of scarlet push through the surface, escaping.
at first it stings and it begins to tingle, but then you begin to feel at ease,
your whole body is in panic mode as the blood starts to drip,
yet your mind is so calm.
cutting is an addiction, it makes me tremble at my knees

Dying Hurts

Swallowing pills to end your life,
You are a mother, a daughter, a wife.
The pain and turmoil you've buried inside,
Must be intense to have chosen this ride.
If you could see the love and care,
Your children have, they need you there.
To kiss and hug their pain away,
To comfort them, and be ok.
I hope some day you'll see I'm right,
Push through the fog and see the light.

Thankful Anyway

everything I wish would subside
somehow continues to linger
trying to take it all in stride
to push through and endure
      self-doubt is always ample
      regret is unsophisticated
      my fears are never subtle
      although they are antiquated
at nightfall my thoughts are somber
why is contentment so elusive?
but in the sweet morning hour
my thankfulness is conclusive

I'Ll Be Right Here

When the last snow is
But a memory
And
Daffodils push through
Once trampled sod.

Right here,
Looking through a lace curtain
Veil
Dampened by my tears,
Because I am standing too close to
The edge of your absence.

You left forgetting to say good-bye,
So I'll be right here
When you return,
As you must!
Right here,
To tell you face to face
I don't care any more!

The Flower In the Winter

“I am cold I am cold” says the flower to the windy swivel, “go blow somewhere else or my petals will shrivel!”

“Oh please” says the swivel to the flower, “you are but a Pansy so stop being so dour”

For a Pansy you know can always re-seed even in cold its growth will succeed.

So be like the Pansy when life throws you lemons , just push through the storm and learn some life lessons.

Discount Compassion

There is a problem in aisle three.
I can't reach the cans of garden peas,
they are on offer.
An elderly man is down.
A handful of helpers,
on one knee
it looks bad.
I cannot get there,
I have to wait,
for the oxygen,
the first responders to
firstly respond,
for the aisle to clear.
Then I had to push through
a group of concerned onlookers,
to reach over his prone body
for the peas.
