Spring Haiku

Long forgotten bulbs
push through soil moist with spring rain
               bursting with colour.

I am so glad I planted all those bulbs in Autumn, I was getting ready to go away to Sydney, and forced myself to plant around 100 tulips and Daffodils... they are starting to bloom and my first daffodil bloomed today... :)
