Three Words

An unpleasant emotion so strong is the fear that pursues us lifelong of a troublesome phrase that is certain to faze. What's the phrase? Just three words: “I was wrong.”

7 Things The Lord Hates

Haughty eyes,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood.

A heart that devises wicked schemes,
A mind that pursues wicked dreams

A false witness who pours out lies
And any man who stirs up strife.

An unexplored
Blue world pursues to
Crawl inland.

Left against
Golden grains
Of sand, receding.
Sonorous wave hum sound,
Back
To bottomless depth.

The Garden Path

Intention of action…
inaction pursues

Deflecting commitment,
with roadblocks infused

Intention of action…
step one and step three

Step two is the question
—of what comes to be

We are tied up to the wheel of fortune

Which without fail, pursues destiny's way

Thus there would be times of much suffering

But good fortune would come to us one day!

The Big Cat

Your advisory pursues the light
Like a beast that hunts
in the night
Even after he has been fed
This animal won’t stop
unless he’s dead.
The race is fixed
the tackle is set
The bangle tiger will
cause him regret.

A Tired Beast

Like a hungry vampire, pursues me loneliness
Scarier than sharp canines for me human phoniness
I feel myself a tired beast in the jungle
Which life has driven into a blind angle
But is calling ahead brutal struggle
Who knows - if will find me buddle?

Premium Member Ending All Fears

If our faith be strong
Resolve rock solid
Love unwavering
Why is there then doubt
Wherefrom comes our fear

The truth is this
Ego pursues
Until desire
Is extinguished

Cessation
Is the key
To be free

Desire
Mirrors

Fear

Darkness

Darkness confines me
Loneliness envelops my heart
Nothingness pursues me
From dawn to dusk

My soul is forsaken
Affliction fills my heart
In the mist of humanity
Recognized by no one

Overwhelmed by tears
Weeping in my heart
My soul is dying
Will I at any point truly exist?

What if it were only seven?
Or five?
Are the rules so strict in heaven?
Alive
sparked with energetic jive
tradition grooved in breast-fed mood
believing not that bucks are food
can cause a soul to wonder.
The soul pursues that which is good
and doesn't peacock squander.

The Wretched Truth

Sometimes love fails us,
sometimes love is grand,
there is laughter and tears.
Yet we go on living
as the world pursues us
under a fading star,
we're moved by
sounds and images
from the notion of love.
It calls you
bringing you closer,
willing you on and on
to find the Wretched Truth.

Morning Sun

The pillow holds my head til the sun peeks in the window ever so slowly as though daring to view my face yet not afraid to be the first of the day. A warm embrace pursues seeping sweetly within my skin fiercely, and yet with a gentle, soft coaxing kindness, undaunted by my hesitance to succumb.

Impurity

Where is the solidity of purity?
Where is the moral of solidity?
And the conservatism of life?

What do I see on the train at night?
Almost naked very young women.
The world has turned upside down.

Spirituality has disappeared from life.
The flesh pursues the soul, and light.
Women are more magnetic in long skirts.

See Dick run, in the golden latterly years,
When past is gone, the future premieres.
Jane is a librarian, in the floral ruby days,
Sally is a teacher, in the tangerine phase.

Puff pursues orange butterflies in heaven,
And he and Spot frolic, in sunshine lemon.
Mother and Father reside in assisted living,
Where the blue jay to the moon is singing.

Inside the Side Inside

in the left corner of the shadow
below the darkest spot
something hidden watches us
eyes black like deep lakes
It looks like a dream but it's a nightmare
we are going down the steps
into the dirty world
the darkness dares and dominates everything
because it perceives and pursues
the scent of absurd fear:
our mind wandering
inside it's filthy alleys

Mandate

Reprogramming my mind.
No longer a caregiver,
from now on I shall be overseer.
My words the whip,
these daily tasks a cotton field
of sorts. This child shall feel
calluses on his hands
as he pushes himself
from a lowly existence and
pursues happiness like a
homeless man who missed it.
From embryo to prince,
from idea to fruition, boy to man,
he is my mission.

What They'Ll Never Escape

People are afraid of what
  they can’t understand
  themselves most often assured

In the depths of their wandering
  a voice cries out
a voice too close to ignore

People will bolt from that thing
  that pursues
that thing that augurs to chase

With blinders on tight
   and running in vain
—to flee what they’ll never escape

Premium Member The Way - Ziket

As we exit narrow craving
Ego yet pursues

Oh hermit! Do not self assess
Reflection betrays

Both manifestation and void
Are but thought constructs

Surrender of this here to That
Dissolve to enter

As long subject object remain
Awareness is bound

Enjoy the play of illusion
As a child in joy

Wary and weary of outer
Rest in bliss within
