Roar to paralyze

Humourless Puma
One day I met a big black puma
whom definitely lost its humour
I showed it silly tricks
the puma licked its lips
became an unwanted consumer.

Composed 8/24/2017.

You cannot eat me! I am the king! The old man said.
The panther laughed and leapt straight for his head.
You cannot eat me! I am the king! The old man repeated.

I am sitting in my Lazy Boy
Feeling smug and safe
Unaware a fourteen foot panther is out there

I hear a ruckus on the porch
But the ten pounds of beef I ate for supper
Is keeping me firmly in place
Until the large cat leaps into my picture window....

Running Shoes / Alfredo's Hideaway
wilfredo, wilfredo
now i tell you what I know
a puma is a big cat
a nike is an obsolete missile
and adidas was an ancient
Greek God, in love with himself
and for sure, shoes
don't run, people do,
and if you haven't tried
the mummy steak,
you're really missing out!!!LOL/...

Premium Member Crouching Cat
crouching down in the grass
she felt like a puma or at least a tiger
the grass barely moved
she was careful not to breathe

a rabbit went past.
too big to take.
She let it live
She was waiting for a chipmunk

She had spotted him yesterday
He was overconfident
she could hardly wait to
bite off his head...

Arguers
You sip your green tea,
I quaff my cold
beer;

you'll kill for a front seat,
I'll murder for
a rear;

I'll fight for the puma,
you for the
panda;

you boo while I cheer,
now increasily
clear;

reasons you won't hear,
no business being
here;

lest tempers go nuclear,
let's just both
disappear!...

My Stalker
Eyes, burning into me;
Leaving shivers as they strike
Then look away.

Anger, hanging around me;
Chokingly thick in the air
Like a steamy summer smog.

Movement, quickening near me;
Stalking my ever motion-
A puma awaiting its prey.

Sound, slamming through me;
Warning that the time
Is now at hand.

Okay, Dear, I'm done now.
You may have the bathroom....

natures playground gleams against a setting of loveliness
cumulous sky clouds dip low, invading air space of sage bald eagle

silver cottonwood trees shrug their shoulders at this glorious canvas
humankind is unwelcome, so they can keep it ethereal
puma patters forth, silently intimidating the rest of the creatures...

Premium Member a bit of this and that
She took a bit of this and a bit of that
Things from the junkyard of Uncle Matt
Put them together and made a giant thing
A lynx, I think said my Cousin Zing

It was a lynx, or a puma or possibly a bobcat.
I was intrigued by this sculpture from junkyard Matt
Zing, I said, it is amazing, unique, clever and phat!
It is amazing that she created it out of this and that....

Premium Member Shamrah a Victorian Maiden
Shamrah is a satisfied Victorian maiden
daughter of a prince, was never a wife
her ebony puma chases potential suitors away

she sits among her gorgeous rose gardens
wearing her embroidered gold tapestry dress
guarded by two docile leopards

men are usually intimidated by Shamrah
They tiptoe away quietly
not wanting to disturb her menagerie
However, if they disturb the big cats they run screaming....

Premium Member Love To Be Eaten By a Puma
The puma is so sleek and black
I have no doubt he’d break my back
And carry me off to feed his cubs
They would love my fat and chubs.

The puma would come in the night
And grab my neck and hold me tight
I would lose my life but who cares?
I would get to see his puma lairs.

The puma’s eyes would be so green.
In the woods, he’d not be seen.
He’d grab me up so amazingly fast.
I would not very quickly last....

Economic Theory
Economic Grows Theory
A forest is beautiful to look at, it also has animals jumping
about not being productive for our common good.
So we chop down the trees and make timber, never mind
the animals they are dangerous anyway; who wants to risk
being attacked by a puma. On the cleared space we can build
 houses made of the former forest´s timber, this will give
employment for many and that is good for mankind....

Big Puma Gammez
Lotsir B. Redlion and Vevor Gould's
Pultez Vittez Vaulter manager.
Was interviewed by " One Hot Number"
Kazu Steinway.
They used the Peavey Soundstage
With an audience. During the
Interview, the masked Lorsir
Said so ment, cantar! Targus,
Targus! And everyone laughed,
So the interview frowned not
Knowing the joke.
Then off airmen Bushier said
The bacon in the jam better be
Turkey cause it looked raw
To him!...

Premium Member It Cannot Be Blue
It cannot be blue we insisted to the puma cub named Ki.
No orangutan ever had a face that resembled cobalt dye,
I am not lying said the cub, he has an azure blue face.
We pretended to believe him, giving all kinds of grace.

Then we saw the creature and we gasped in disbelief.
Around his eyes was a ring that resembled a Smurf wreath.
Is he a true orangutan we asked the puma cub named Ki.
Who would I know? He answered. Besides, I lie....
