The adoring men of stripper, Priscilla the Hun

Three times the mass of the sun
were the boobs of stripper, Priscilla the Hun.
And when the adoring men yelled out for more,
she'd shimmy and knock 'em all to the floor ~
first with the left, and then with the right one.

Better Than Gold

Priscilla - alone in her villa
Was visited by a guerrilla
Although she was frail
She fought tooth and nail
To protect her bean of vanilla*

* My daughter asked me to send
her some fresh Hawaiian vanilla
beans; talk about sticker shock!

Names From Yesteryear

Hortense and Gertrude
   Priscilla, Imogene
Once-popular names
   no more to be seen

Isadore, Cornelius
  Cyrus and Mortimer
Back in the day such
  names courted her

You never know though
  when a name may return
Such as Ambrose, Edsel
   Penelope or Fern

Women Thru the Glass Ceiling

WOMEN OF AUTHORITY
Women of the world may
lead,teach and oversee.
Deborah a leader upon God’s
call and Miriam & Esther ,
females to name but three.
In later times these four
as well,Anna,Phoebe,Priscilla
& Junia and many more;
freed by Jesus’ law.In Him
we see neither Greek nor Gentile
male or female or the unfree.

Inspired by Gal 2:28 and Gen 2:18

We Call Her Gorgeous Turquoise Riding Girl

We call her gorgeous turquoise riding girl.
She has pretty hair, the ends of it curl.
I think her name is Liz, Mary, Candy or Joan.
Is she a lady at all? Asked his cousin on the phone.

Not sure, but her name might be Priscilla or Bea.
She’s riding a turquoise bike to the left of me.
Why don’t you ask her name as she is riding by?
I am too shy, said his cousin, hiding one eye.

poor me Priscilla

I was never part of a family
never on a team
never felt comradery

No one ever stood up for me
people bullied me
I was alone

Poor me
Poor me
Poor poor me

She held a pity party for herself daily
In the lunchroom at work
ruining lunch for the rest of us

All cheer and jollity are extinguished when she enters
poor her, poor her, poor poor poor whiney her
We started eating at our desks

The Night Cafe

"The Night Café" is the name of a painting by Vincent van Gogh, and I have used the title for my poem.

The lights were on dim
in the Night Café
and we could barely
see the food

Priscilla had crumpets
and her boyfriend had one,
while I had
nothing at all

The lights were on dim
in the Night Café
and we won't
go there again

Playful Priscilla

When people do not know how to have fun
We send them to Playful Priscilla for she is number one.
She understands how to uplift, to motivate and relax.
She does it with excitement, these are the facts.

Playful Priscilla’s rainbow colors are colorfully nice.
They help thaw the strangest people’s stuck up cold ice.
She figures them out quickly and shakes them to the core.
When they finish with her, they always want more.

Priscilla Pig and the Sow

Priscilla pig pranced and peened proudly in the pooh.
Enjoying small flecks of mud on her hooves tis true.
Don’t stop now! Roll in it! Yelled the old sow named Sue.
She looked at her like she was headed to the factory glue.

Old Sue did not care; she had mud, corn and a sky of blue.
Priscilla wondered, if Sue continued to speak what could she do?
She gave the old one a look as if she were snot under her shoe.
Frankly, they never agreed on anything, these barnyard two.

Distant Things

A Rumble in the Jungle, a Thriller in Manila
Blue suede shoes, Elvis and Priscilla
Old blue eyes, the star of the show
Distant things. Oh so long ago

A bay of pigs and all its cold war tension
Vietnam, is it even worth a mention
An iron curtain parted, people come and go
Distant things. Oh so long ago

Distant things, that happened in the past
Distant things, that shrink remaining vast
A history of distance, that's gone but seems to last
A different event. A different cast

Jealous of Mr and Mrs Meow the 16th

mr and mrs merlin meow the sixteenth were on the brink
of letting Kansas City High Society know what they think.
the star put their photo on the front page with a link.
each of them dressed to the nines, holding their favorite drink.

those two do not think that their prissy litter boxes stink!
sniffed their gardener, a put-upon python wearing bright pink.
look at her, she’s such a back-stabber, a gossip, a fink!
yelled his wife Priscilla, with a sassy sashay and a slippery slink.

When Priscilla Died

When
all Mom’s
kids left home,
Priscilla, our
Siamese, lived on
to well past twenty years
of age. One day, approaching
her litter box, she raised one foot,
gave forth a strange raucous sound, and then
collapsed. The cat quite literally croaked!

*croaked is also American slang for died.
(I had introduced Priscilla to our family. I had been selling
cards all summer at age 14 so that I could buy myself a bike,
and a lady I sold cards to offered that cat to me! Boy, did
she live a long time.)
