The Night Cafe
"The Night Café" is the name of a painting by Vincent van Gogh, and I have used the title for my poem.
The lights were on dim
in the Night Café
and we could barely
see the food
Priscilla had crumpets
and her boyfriend had one,
while I had
nothing at all
The lights were on dim
in the Night Café
and we won't
go there again
