Please Print
Back slash, back slash, speed of light
Still my printer will not write.
Unplug, reboot, check the wires,
Now I need those tiny pliers.
Twist, turn, smash the keys,
Make it work, dear God please!
If-then, control alt delete,
Where oh where is the receipt?...

Soggy-Hearted 9-20-21
When I was fifteen I had a soggy heart
“Paint what it feels like”
So I painted my heart, dripping in sorrow
The cheap acrylic paint left their printer paper as soggy as the heart I had made
I’m twenty now, and the poeticism has vanished
I don’t feel melancholy
I feel like sh*t...

Just a Soul
Just a soul without an owner
A drifted mystic persona
A body slipped into a coma

Art is the creation
A dreams realisation
An ideas preservation

Art without a canvas
An address-less campus
A globe without an atlas

A printer with no toner
An upper without a lower
Just a soul without an owner...

My Computer Luv
Her hardware, silk, drops to the floor
Her software, warm, soft with curves.
CD rom all over her until she boots up.
I megabyte her neck slowly.
She goes into hard drive, i into RAM
as we both work like a keyboard.
Her eyes like chips, start to monitor me.
And the printer in my heart copies over
and over again....

Paronoid Printer
The printer has gone berserk
Throwing out my work
Launching A4 paper asunder
Is it any wonder
That if you need to make haste
It is easier to copy and paste
Halt bedeviled font copying machine
Such tandrum I have never seen
A4 all over the desk and floor
Throw the switch, pull the plug
Damage you will do no more...

Bitcoin is Liberating - Bitcoin Poem 075
Power of the money printer
Quite intoxicating

Stealing from the rest of us
Shame, incriminating

Modern Monetary Theory
Slowly devastating

Bitcoin makes the money true
Free and liberating

Rebuilding our lives and wealth
All appreciating

Cantillon theft and seigniorage
Now eliminating

Bitcoin adoption ‘cross the world
Fast accelerating

A Flying Bagatelle
A Flying Bagatelle

Through the open door
come flying
a sparrow grey
of no distinction
it sat on
the printer
looked at me
quizzically
the phone rang
startled it flew to the
window
caught in the curtains
I got it lose
carried the bird
to the door let it go
that was all
no epiphany
nothing mystical
just a bewildered bird
a ringing phone
and a magic moment...

Printer Friendly Poem
Old Bones

Just throw these old bones in the backyard
I got tired of life
I've loved it hard
Don't go makin a fuss
Outta losin this old cuss
Just bury me
Like you married me
In my jeans
Take my pieces and maybe make some kind sense
Course, we'll argue about how you got it wrong

How To Kill a Printer
Throw it over the second floor
Or better yet bathe it
Since it never seem to.
Kicking doesn’t help
Or talking either
Everybody just thinks me crazy.

I’ve thought of starving it
No paper, No work
We’ll see who’s smiling now.
Oh wait for a sec,
Do printers eat Ink or paper?

This machine irks me
So before I kill it
I wonder,
How much jail time
Do I have to do
For killing one Stupid Printer?...

Premium Member Stop Me Before I Write Again
and so I tossed another in
an overflowing recycle bin
the printer paper pile
grows thin
that little voice inside
“LET’S START AGAIN”.

Thus do my secrets
ever slowly shred
memories from which
my ink has bled
for poetry’s the blood
the living shed.

So does my heart still pump
redemption’s roar
circling the darkness
at its core
painting with its twisted brush
my chore.

Printer Printer
The Printer takes our written words and with a little ink,
He tells the world in black and white what we all think,

He may serve for finances or business of his own,
With Soho notes and member cards of where to write or phone.

But one or the other, his importance is supreme,
Because his craft is needed in promoting every gym,

His letters spell the words we mean or hide the ones we think,
Whenever we speak in terms of the Soho printers ink....

Office Crush, Or the Intimacy of Sharing a Computer Mouse In This Touchless Age
His hand is warm.

I know this because

I have felt the warmth of it

through the mouse.

He leans behind me to reach

the printer, teasing me because

I was startled. And he always says,

“Can I borrow this for two seconds?”

But I don’t mind if it’s more.

When he gives me

the computer back,

and I click on the next patient’s chart,

and I can tell where his fingers were,

it might be the closest we’ll ever come

to real touch....

Thoughts For Today 5/3/04 Words A drop of ink is the foundation of many words. A thought’s future lies in spoken words, And the future of my words Are reliant upon an ink jet printer that is obsolete. Tom The End Time An exciting event in history lies before us, An event which many will witness, but none record. Tom Idleness Regression is the direct result of idleness. And the surest way to the back of the line Is to merely stand still. Tom

Complaining
The printer isn’t working.
The faucet has a drip.
I can’t decide what clothes to pack
Before my coming trip.

I ordered something but it seems
There is no record of it.
The restaurant was awful but
I used to always love it.

My sneakers got my feet all wet
And so my socks were dripping.
My magazines are piled so high,
One bump and they’ll be tipping.

It’s gray outside to match my mood
But there’s a point to raining;
If only blossoms bloomed
As a result of my complaining!...
