A couth poetic platypus,
Choosing words that are never rude,
Carries a heavy blunderbuss,
And softly croons a platitude.
I met a girl quite bonny
Downtown in Pukalani
Her "Heavenly Hole"
Fits men on the dole
And Presidents like Donny . . . ..
Twitter obsession
Presidents to pig farmers

Our President does not care

This day's for presidents famous
The resident scoop
On such a small group
Makes us like an ignoramus
the deceit and lies
flow so freely and smoothly

The Presidents Day urge to shop
Get to stores like on a bar hop
I'd visit them all
And splurge at the mall
But Amazon's my preferred stop
Laundry billowing in the wind
Drove my mother around the bend
She'd greet with scorn
Each Monday morn
But with ironing done, she grinned!

The United States of America
Aka The US,
Now "The US Group Company"
Retains its Presidency
To Donald Trump
Until 2020
Those who really govern we never see while those we always see do not really govern!

Donald Trump, he was a great man.
His fame was spread all over the land.
He lived like a king.
His praises men sing.
Now he must give up the command.
Prime Minister May
And Merkel, too,
Are prone to give Trump some rope
They're not cutting slack
Just watching their back
To avoid our President's grope . .
Trump went to the outhouse alone
And sat on his "Throne" with a groan
When out of the dark
There flashed a bright spark
When Trump dropped his selfie iPhone
There’s a teacher out in Morro Bay
Who won’t celebrate Presidents Day
Washington—Lincoln
Sure—Now you’re thinkin’
But Pierce and Buchanan? No way!

Shall college presidents resign
When the House says words cross the line?
What should we say next
If free speech lacks context?
"Stefanik is asinine!"
A never ending task
over 4200 of them
we fire them
like Presidents
The secrets of eternity
change yourself
so that the universe
recycles you
for the butter
Person's Precedence Hor Haiku
Should a precedence
Be set up by presidents
Which would make much sense.

John McCain Dumpty sat on a wall
John McCain Dumpty had a great fall
all the presidents lobbyist
and all Sarah Palins men
cound'nt put poor Dumpty
in office again
Ask me not where, when, why or how
Because if I knew I’d be president now
Wait a minute, presidents don’t know that too
I never said they did, but I have morals. Do you?
fifty soldiers at a political war
in the field
suffering head trauma
Trump says
they ‘re only headaches
if only his doctors would have said
they ‘re only bone spurs
A Joey was spotted in wonderland
shaking hands with the invisible man
while "knees" just cackled and snorted
as the border was aborted
the Easter bunny took total command
The Lone Star State

displays bigness,
roses and bluebonnets
a few past U.S. Presidents

Poetic form: Cinquain
The humid air presages rain
in my mind Sweet Georgia plays
yet a rebel flag briefly waved over Capitol Hill.
Together we strive for better days
but inside lies a bittersweet pain.
Presidents should always honor the post
Respect the office, a privilege not a boast
The world is watching
No time for wobbling
Get off your horse, respect is uppermost
Presidents should always honor the post
Respect the office, a privilege not a boast
The world is watching
No time for wobbling
Get off your horse, respect is uppermost
