Is it out of control?
Or just another prep for the final days…
Cleansing with fire!...

Having Faith Written: by Tom Wright 8-15-2016 All matters must begin with a single step, And often our uncertainty holds us back. Even in our thoughts we may dutifully prep, Lack of faith curtails our ability to attack.

Individual
“Individual”

I wear tight pants, and dress in black

I’M AN INDIVIDUAL

I’m not a copy nor a fake, I am what I am.

I’M AN INDIVIDUAL

I’m not ghetto, or punk or prep. Labels and steriotypes don’t suit me.

I’M AN INDIVIDUAL,
Yeah, I’m me....

Words Gone Rag a Satire
Words Gone Rag

what a pity
how absurd
college grads have lost their words
latent grammar
dead vocab
grab at every
prep they have

don't know what the trouble is...
at computers they can whiz

don't know what will happen next----
whatever it is
will be found
in text...

Young and Happy
Walking with a purpose—
Smiling as I step—
With my feet above the surface,
I dance gracefully with no prep.
Innocent and young I am—
With so much future ahead—
I am as happy as a clam,
And positivity is all I spread.
So as beautiful as I dance—
And my tiny voice so calm—
With every chance I will advance,
Nothing is possible without my mom....

Philosophy of a Housewife
The furniture needs a dusting
The floors mopped and swept
The bathroom needs a scrubbing
The evening meal to prep

Dirty dishes line the counter
The laundry's in a heap
Pet hair on the cushions
The windowpanes are streaked

In such disarray, I'm overwhelmed
I really should get hopping
But, tomorrow IS another day
I think I'll just go shopping!...

wanting to bring

it wouldn't

i'd have to find

My Angel
I could see the sun was shining for the first time
When I saw your chinky eyes
Even though it was raining
And my body was draining
I was in heaven on earth
There is no training... or prep class
That could give this love at last!
I was free ...
No more preggo or preggy
My Angel is here with me
The Lord has blessed us a child so sweet
Please bless her soul we keep
My baby Annalie...

prep your ribs for cracks of laughter,
Its a brand new day,

A brand new year on the line,

From Here To Eternity
Going under the blade during a full moon albeit
Only unto these eyes across her Atlantic by the time
Their slicing begins ? Pre op as the nurses prep unto a lullaby..
His specialist with sedative in hand hoping to yet bypass
Another tragedy of that they believe, this fatal flat line ?
Although hoping myself to find her guardian Angel near by
Dressed as adorned amid heavenly light her love; together we'll fly....

Labels
Don’t label me,
I’m not a freak
I’m not an anorexic that doesn’t eat
I’m not a “Lesbo”
I’m not a slut
I’m not an emo girl that cuts and cuts
I’m not a prep
I’m not a Goth
But please don’t go thinking I’m soft
I’m not a geek,
I don’t attention seek
So, what if I’m black?
I don’t do crack
I’m just me
And that’s all I’ll ever be
Don’t like it?
You’ll be working for me one day,
You just wait and see....

Hosting T-Day
When the guests all arrive
And the food tastes okay
And the grown-ups watch football
While kids get to play…

It’s a magical day,
Calm replacing all stress
Though the clean-up awaits
And the kitchen’s a mess.

Still, such feelings of warmth
Cling to every pore
And as minutes tick by
I wish there could be more.

But we hug our goodbyes
And we load up the sink.
All that prep and excitement
Dissolved in a blink....

Runaway Gun
Ready the gun, action to the rear!
the 105 howitzer should give them something to fear!
why hadn't sergeant felt the toss?
the men jumped out
among each gunner
a shamed face shows
for each of them
already knows
we have their position!
prep the munition!
he drops his hands
and stops his commands
Sergeant sees his worst fear
the gun was lost
it was no where near
one single tear
fell from his eye
without our gun
our men will die...

Holiday Prep
Today I hit the kitchen
With my apron neatly tied,
Preparing many recipes
My file did provide.

For each year on the holiday,
I measure, chop and mix,
To make the dishes that tradition
Taught me how to fix.

If I have the ingredients,
The project’s kind of Zen.
I get into the zone of knowing
That I’m back again

To carry on like I have done
So many times before,
Reminding me of who I am
Way deep inside the core.

Breaking Even Steven
Vendors ready,
About an hour til start,
Year plus of prep,
It's no walk in the park

Creative drive in full speed,
Every situation plants a seed,
Networking channel in high demand,
Without it small guys fall in quick sand

Alive with the childhood glow
Proud of their fleets, it's shows,
Displays plotted to attract consumers
One showcase highlights Honeymooners,

The goal is to break even,
No instructions, just play the game Steven.....

In the Ballroom
Gliding, waltzing 'round the floor
with your true love is not a chore,
brings back those memories of yore.
You know the score! You know the score!

A dip, a swirl or fancy step,
it all enhances dancing rep.
Practice! Practice! so no misstep.
You just must prep, you just must prep.

Now you can take your rock-and-roll
and drop it in a great big hole.
Ballroom dancing, that is my goal.
Good for the soul. Good for the soul.

This will force you to change your life path.
This will prep you with foresight and wisdom that you cannot
otherwise understand.

Follow the procedure below.
1. Click the Tomorrow Morning button at the end of each day.
2. Open your eyes each morning to continue going, growing!

Note: This process may take longer than expected."...
