Pinch An Ear

O help me! I've fallen
And I can't get it up!
I'm stuck here acrawlin'
Up a Double-D cup

Now don't let us dicker
I am over the hill
Just be a mite quicker
Slipping me that blue pill!

Poet's Predicament

My mind is sound
  It's tightly wound
Its thoughts roam free
  They are unbound

My imagination is King
  if not 'officially' crowned
No huzzahs yet resound --
  Tho opportunities abound...

Hanks Predicament

Hank’s Predicament Limerick: by Tom 7/27/2022 I once knew a man named Hank, while in the army drove a tank. Then one day’s dread, the tank lost a tread. At that time Hank's mind went blank.

Rise Up From Poverty

Rise up from poverty
Get off of those streets
There is nothing but uncertainty
You never know the predicament that you may meet
Take back your life
Move towards the light
Get out of the darkness
And make your life bright

Daffodils

...with apologies to WW

I wandered lonely as a cloud
until my feet got wet.
I struggled through the
undergrowth and found myself
beset by insects all around,
my temper wholly spent,
to hell with yellow daffodils
and my predicament!

What a Predicament

An ugly, wriggly worm got into his trousers, wiggling and crawling Reached a place he couldn't scratch, making him wobbling and howling

The Shooter

Denied a beer
no I.D.
only eighteen,
so naturally he bought
a semi-auto rifle.

The silent mad
go bad.
Such a predicament.

Sorrow weeps, reason sleeps.

Background checks
buried now in graveyard grounds.

No more back to school.

Where Would a Student Go

Where would a student go
If there was no education
The predicament would not be pretty
Nothing but pure frustration
The doors will be closed
And opportunity passes you by
One cannot function accordingly
Darkness follows that person endlessly

The Poets Predicament

Where will I find that one-best thing
to say in that way that is best

better words keep falling to paper

and falling but
say I find you instead

and falling in love I keep falling

and falling
what better hoped for or said

Love is always its best

At the Crack of Dawn

At the crack of dawn
The sight of the early morn
We rise and start over again
Another chance to brighten things my friend
Through the crystal clear air
There are gentle hearts that show that they care
Always the one to use words of encouragement
So others can be in a better predicament

Wilderness

          Wild and desolate land
                    withholds hope, suffocates
               winds whip hot with warnings
        weary wanderers faint
wretched predicament.
        Where can one escape fate?
            Watch for a Redeemer.

In Predicament and Vehement

Should not be too difficult
to guess who this is.

In Predicament and Vehement

Always knew when he had been in a predicament,
As usual would become upset and also vehement;
Adult here hope,
Who knows rope;
Only detected childishness in his each comment.

Is there an adult in the room?

Down To Earth Music

Good evening boys.
We’re here to play not to pray. Oh God
That’s an unsuitable predicament for a garage band. Let’s
play some down to earth music
not some praise the Lord too high for your voice whining
music. Your hands belong on necks, not on books
your fingers should press strings,
not brandish gold rings..

At My Best Bite Size No 68

In hospital after the crash, I lost my ability to walk. He said he had to go. Last time I ever heard him talk. Knowing this, I thought my loving heart would burst. And now I know that if he can’t love me at my worst. Then he doesn’t deserve me when I am at my best. My predicament had sadly put him to the test.

Out of the Ordinary

Out of the Ordinary

Not only was it out of the ordinary
It ended up being extraordinary
Middle or lower class never been
Can't understand predicament we are in
Ain't gonna be easy and may be gory.

I'm Wiser Now

I used to do it all
But it was never enough
I’d go over and above
I’d do better than my best
And still it wasn’t up to par
Now I barely do enough
And guess what~
I’m in no worse predicament
It still isn’t enough
But at least I know why
Yes it still sucks
But finally
I’m ok with it

Santa's Predicament

Getting down the chimney, Santa got stuck Belly got tautened while trying to duck All over smeared with black soot His face got dark like his boot Rescue force came to move him in a truck

Sud Ull Tea

Staring uneasily through the smoke I do
Put myself in this predicament with nothing to gain but a vacant mind.
But then again. . .Inspiration comes with a price to pay.
Incomplete connections spell-check my ambitions
Only this time, I know it will be different.
Delete the next line for sensitivities sake
You will never know the real me, and I choose to keep it that way.

Shredded Fingers

I shoved my fingers into a paper shredder to trim my nails.
But it shredded my fingers and it hurt like hell.
People stare because I have stumps instead of fingers.
I had to give up my career of being a country singer.
Listen to my advice so that my predicament isn't some thing you'll have to endure.
Don't be an idiotic moron like me, if you need your nails trimmed, get a manicure.
