E Equals Mc2

In life it seems I'm ill prepared
to have my mass and photons squared.
I've really tried to do my best
and now my fat backside's at rest.

Premium Member just an observation

no 2 people can see the same light photon ~ yet both can’t miss the void

one hundred trillion photons hits our eyes each second ~ don’t be devoid

Challenging Concepts 3

I
Humans are not candles, but patterns - of light

II
Molecules, energy & photons allow air, nutrients to stream through us

III
Our eyes can't see what's streaming through us; yet we are the Universe

Light King

Through the mist I sense the dawn
Struggling to appear
Sun wants only to be shown
Fog erased and cleared

Floats so proudly overhead
Great majestic King
Crown of photons being shed
Powers living things

Electronicity

I
My eyes never "see" until a reflection
Light never reflect until "objects" show
Objects never show up 'til photons "die"

II
Science reveals & steals: truths & joy
Space has little reflected light, some heat
Both need electrons: O electronicity!

Left In Dark Fear

Left in Dark Fear

Is darkness
Present only when photons are gone,
Having no form and really is nothingness?
Disappearing when a lamp is switched on,
Does it flee at light speed?
But to our dread we know it remains eternally behind
And light will always leave
Us in the dark completely blind.

His Grace

The gravity of freedom…
all truth pulled back and forth

With God inside the Blackest Hole,
  unseen, he sets your course

The speed your feelings travel,
  regulated by the light

Your prayers like photons, crying out
—His Grace to guide your flight

(Villanova Pennsylvania: April, 2019)

Marrakech and Bangladesh
       My recall's not that fresh...

On to the parts of the limbic system
In school, I usually missed 'em

     Quarks, photons, bosons, and gluons
       Art class? Cut and paste?

All that stuff you're supposed to learn
~ Seems like quite a waste

Colliding Galaxies

I become animal
with her
and animals
know no sin...

Dark and delicious
is she
knot of love
ever tightening...

We lay
watching shadows
on the wall
each others faces
she plays with my hair...

Erotic photons
we become
galaxies colliding
exploding into
a million pieces
crashing into one another..

Premium Member Narrow margins

| From lack of reason, to quotients of densest space
| Through the iris of an eye, voids are commonplace
| Stubborn pervasive doubt, projects across the face
| Reassured again when mindsets find a bright place
| Still if one can’t see god, photons will bring a trace
| Filtered through life’s prism, heaven refracts apace

Dance of Genesis

In the beginning, atoms and photons made a Covenant
"We will always dance, even if with complexity,"
And so it is to this day: from newborn infant
Of human or animal, insect or mineral, electron or selectron
Everything is dancing, inside out
But humans are too busy about the conclusion
No dance rushes to the end, it's about enjoying the steps along the way

Traveling Light

Unburdened by mass,
star born
photons
hurtle
through vacuum voids.

They reach a planet
where green continents swim
in blue oceans.
It is night. A woman
looks up at the sky.

The photons travel
through the gelatinous matter
of her eye and die
on her retina,
sparking electric pulses
that race
along the optic nerve,
and her miraculous brain
translates:
I see a star.

Orion

liquid oxygen, nitrogen, napalm
the many methods of modern BBQ
multi-pronged igniters injecting mainline
high pressure laser guided fusion reactors
subatomic quantum mechanical quasar energy
photons vibrating in Orion’s nebula
disintegrating galactic supercharged plasma
ejected from hemorrhoids at warp speed
inner core’s event horizon is compromised
came through the worm hole
didn’t see it coming

Through two narrow slits,
light photons unfurl as waves
with interference—
when watched they harden to points,
but unseen they share a swim.

So too for our selves
form and shadow share one skin—
defined, undefined
we change masks under glances,
being shaped by who's watching.

Our many-held selves,
playful, solemn, split by gaze
actors in context—
only under scrutiny
are we firm focused solid.

Near Nothing At All

One’s life is no more or less Than an hourglass made flesh Each grain of sand But a heartbeat of man Each breath a small death In the end… We’re no more than metronomes Fashioned from flesh and bones Mere measure of mortality No more…No less We’re no more than photons Mere flashes of light No more that a meteor’s Brief flight in the night A minute component An atom at best No more than an hourglass …Made flesh…

Avid Life

there is inspiration afoot!
come! see the photons splay
come! here the waves arc
inhaling smokin' oaken memory

walk the shoes of your life
brush hard into the wind
lean into it...and into me
before the mast's salt spray

crampons push to higher views
amass the scenes and scents
musty, the book's words billow
into your imaginative face

fill your trinketed pockets
with candies, screws, and cameos
handfuls cast to the crowds
giving the taking...is living
