Notes About The Poem

Narrow margins

| From lack of reason, to quotients of densest space
| Through the iris of an eye, voids are commonplace
| Stubborn pervasive doubt, projects across the face
| Reassured again when mindsets find a bright place
| Still if one can’t see god, photons will bring a trace
| Filtered through life’s prism, heaven refracts apace

The thought of searching for God with a photon detector… nah. My thoughts turned to those who are blind. Would they see a light within their mind with eyes closed? Mindsets can change. You open a reader’s eyes to the possibilities.

If I were to take everything you write literally, I would need therapy. ;-). I never really question your direction, but I am tempted to peer somewhat closer.

Heya Lin, perhaps I’m searching for something tangible/perceptible however small that may be, those unfortunate enough to be blind, can still be enlightened of course, I’m using a lot of metaphor in this one, and should not be taken literally, I always like to point out all possibilities, and get people thinking about them cheers David

Remainders, things unseen we sense what is not there. My eyes are closed asleep, I feel a bright light I mean Bright blinding, embracing me. What is that? There is something magical about your entry, I can't put my finger on it, but it felt quite nice.

Heya Anaya, that bright blinding light is possibly the source of all our consciousness, is it a god or an eternal entity, take your pick, Don’t worry I can’t quite put my finger on it either, perhaps that is the whole concept behind this one, still I’m glad you enjoyed, cheers David

Another thought provoking verse from your pen David. The LHC are still looking for the God particles, haven't heard much news about them for a long time. I often wonder though if animals can see more than us. Hope you're keeping well. Tom

Thanks Tom, I haven’t been on the soup much of recent, muse was pretty vacant, as happens from time to time, funny you mention the LHC, they are shutting it down, and building a bigger one right next to it, the old one apparently wasn’t powerful enough smash apart the tiniest particles and find the god ones, the physicists are convinced they do exist! I’m pretty sure the animals see the world in a whole different light than us humans, cheers David
