Near Nothing At All

One’s life is no more or less Than an hourglass made flesh Each grain of sand But a heartbeat of man Each breath a small death In the end… We’re no more than metronomes Fashioned from flesh and bones Mere measure of mortality No more…No less We’re no more than photons Mere flashes of light No more that a meteor’s Brief flight in the night A minute component An atom at best No more than an hourglass …Made flesh…
