What Some Pharisees Overhead
All that we had encountered
Of God, Fear kowtowed to.
Yet this, for sinner's relief
This, piteous, soaked through
Are we, here and now, told is
That face,the very same
Behind all that skied displeasure;
A vengefulness to name!...

Good Friday
Pilate:
Pilate, scared, washed his
hands.
A crackdown by Caesar
loomed.
Pharisees threatened.

The Sentence:
Pharisees threatened.
Jesus doomed; scripture
fulfilled.
Crowd shrieked: CRUCIFY!

Barrabas:
Pilate asked which one?
Give us Barabbas, all cried.
Scripture playing out....

Punica Granatum, Not So Fast
PUNICA GRANATUM

Yes, in Paradise, Adam and Eve ate pomegranate
No, to apple-etymology - No, to The French "Grenade"
No, more or less 613 seeds (sorry Pharisees and thy 613 Law)
Yes, Malum Granatum, no origin in Carthage, Latin Rome's flaw

(c)Deo, Pomegranates are mentioned in the 4,000 year-old system of healing, AYURVEDA....

With You I'M Well Pleased
By the Jordan people came out to John
to be baptised and cleansed of all wrong.
     “Now all you Pharisees
     who warned you to flee
from God's wrath. To him you cease to belong.”

When Jesus came out to be baptised
John did confess that he was surprised.
     Rising from the river
     a dove came down thither.
“This is my Son with whom I'm well pleased.”

Matthew 3...

John the Baptist
In the river Jordan
you baptized the people,
some were brood of vipers:
pharisees, sadducees -

hey sanna hosanna,
king Herod you opposed.
You were his prisoner -
his servants cut your head.

In spirit you survived,
bashing black pharisees
even in red cassocks.
White cassock will not save

the one with black soul
and be it the vengeance,
hey sanna hosanna -
just punishment of God....

Premium Member Greener Pastures
Lured across the world are we,
to setting sun, ancient sea,
privileged ones so carefree
lured to pastures greener?

Wander led the core of me,
to foreign suns Pharisees.
Naiveté fueled, footloose, free,
lured to pastures greener?

Herded child of Galilee
primed-pumped, then set free
fool's gold seeking protégée
lured to pastures greener?

Stop searching, surely, you see
beauty is all around thee....

Condemned To Repeat
The Pharisees vengeance,
unleashing again

To kill a ‘false’ prophet,
their fear redescends

The cross is made ready,
like ages before

The nails though still rusty,
hammer deep and secure

Their memories short sighted,
rejecting the fact

The last one they crucified…
 alive and intact

A new Resurrection
they’re about to ensure

Through hatred and envy
—damnation procured

The Rehabilitation of Killers ( Two Senryu Trilogies)
Out of water
Moses killed a task master
And hid the body.

In the wilderness
Forty years and reconciled
Called by Burning Bush

Out of the desert
Moses, the deliverer,
Set God's people free.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A true Pharisee
Of Pharisees, Paul stood by
Consenting killings.
Killing more Christians
Blinded, thrown off his high horse
Sent to a Christian
The scales fell away.
Paul became a man of God...
Trusted apostle....
What Else Is New
The Great I Am was spat upon. Pharisees set him up;
enemies sold him down the river; his own brothers did not trust Him.
His best friends fell asleep when He pleaded with them to pray
But then He rose up from the grave.
 I am not so great. When I am mocked, I turn away and smile.
People ignore my questions and neighbors close their shades.
Getting angry would mean I'm not trusting in my Lord.
One day I'll rise up from the dead
