laying in your bed
watching you
get dressed
the permanent ring in the
back pocket
of your blue jeans
i’m missing you already
Form:
Skin therapy couldn’t materialize
Consequently leaving behind a blemish
An injury that is permanent
Resting deathlessly on me
Permanent hand stamp
in copper, green and silver
letting us back in
to life, to love, in shapes of
luna moth wings, fluttering.
Desert thorns that sting.
Careful desert animals.
Both have great instinct,
Finding safety together.
Not permanent for either.
I write premium Brand Names
On all my cheap stuff
With a permanent no label waterproof Magic marker
Its magic
Works for me.
If this life is temporary,
And if this earth is just transient,
Then what makes you frequently think
That your problems are permanent?
Life
Fruitful, robust
Thriving, breathing, living
Family, friends, spirits, entities
Flying, falling, waiting
Eternal, Permanent
Death
nothing
is not permanent
is not impermanent
nothing
is not nothing
simply not two
is not it
nor is
simply two
Her natural eyebrows she denies
Quickly with a pencil she applies
Drawn way to high
She startled her guy
With a permanent look of surprise!
Embrace permanent eccentricities with wide praying arms,
To make our whining goose’s life joyful, hopeful and calm.

HOW UNWISE
How unwise a man seems
When
Within a transient life
A
Permanent residence to
Build strives!

A Shadorma
Kicking up
sun baked sands on beach
sand crab snaps
naked toe
permanent tattoo buried
a toenail sculpture.
It seems a continuing resolution,
Means no permanent solution
It goes on yet never ends.
Talk about job security
Without diversity.
Well, it depends.
Life is a dirty postcard,
I'm the one
with the permanent tan.
She wears the crown of filth
and beauty, and I
lose myself
in the uncertainty
of her gaze.
Separated experiences share similarities
As if they weren’t really so
Differences were handled with fragile hands
And still, permanent are scars that remain
I had a little frog named Fred
To catch him I used a 2X4 across the head
With his permanent smile
He hopped around for a while
But the next day he was dead
There was a man from Bellaire
Who glued a sex toy to a chair
He said wouldn’t it be fun
To try it in the sun
Now he has a tan and a permanent pop eyed stare
It's getting hard to write poetry
with the hatred going on in society
Here's to permanent emnity-abdication
Light and Love to the rescue, our salvation
The days draw on
And your touch
Is like a
Permanent glove
Your heat
Equates mine
Fire with fire
We are alight
And burn
And burn
Until there is no more
the circus, hooray
but I do not go
instead I am locked away
with only a pot to pee in
I escape through the window to play in the yard
a permanent mark on my record
Form:
Scars
The pain
Traced in flesh
Permanent strife
An everlasting memory of hurt
They adorn my body like dead skin cells
Never fading
They stay there
Always
Scars
No bond is permanent
Except the love;
But what love is?
It's too impressive that
Phantasm cultivates sagacious illusions!

Steps Trump Took
Each step Trump took was set aside;
Some were washed away at high tide;
Had a new fad,
Which was bad,
And permanent his hair became dyed.
Jim Horn
In the humble, sad dwelling,
last year's Christmas decorations
still permanent, the same ornaments...
signs and clues of poverty...
As I paint a keepsake rock with my brush-style permanent markers,
I think of how the marks soon enough wash away off of my skin,
Just as his beautiful love for me was not permanent.
