Scar

Skin therapy couldn’t materialize
Consequently leaving behind a blemish
An injury that is permanent
Resting deathlessly on me

Excellently expressed, Samuel. I can just feel the burden and shame -- yes, humiliation, even -- of that scar, that blemish, growing heavier with each line of the acrostic. Well-done! ~ Gershon

Samuel.. those are the marks of life and in time become as trophies of things we have endured and survived!
