What a tired to peddle?

Then went for a car,

My belly swollen, like a pregnant ma,
No way to go than gym ha,

The gym way to slim peddling cycle!
The gym way to slim tiring cycle!!...

For your sins

unbelievers
nineteen crimes
peddling dimes

Now I have risen
from the broth

until I decide
is all for naught

I reign

Premium Member Calling School Bus Drivers
School bus drivers stay aware with eyes peeled
For cyclists who are out there peddling wheels
Watch out for those who travel on foot too
Students who saunter along as they do
The elderly, blind and those unhearing
Hold safe those on the bus you are steering....

Epoch of Dis-Ease
Merchant of moments
Peddling the past
A hourglass high
A present that never lasts

Slave to silience
Disguising the deceit
A tongued tied echo
A truth that's never discrete

Time may beget actuality
Expectation elicits emotion
A tacit torture
A sensation that's never chosen...

Gamble Gold
Gamble Gold of the gay green woods
Peddling the pack of Robin Hoods
                                          He met little John
                                         At the end of dawn
Both played the market of Sher-Hoods...

Premium Member Abstract From a Dream Macabre
My imagination ran shamelessly amok last night
While I slumbered in beaded sweat, askance that I would
Be peddling ornate coffins to the absurdly rich, then
Second handing them to poorer souls for paltry profit.

Jumping
Rowing down the riverbank;
The water is a danger,
No this is not how I begin-
Am in a four wheel ranger.
Driving on the barren road
Past can eat my dust,
Suddenly a bike appears
I must, I must, I must….
Peddling along with speed
Faster than the car,
Jumping off and now I’m gone
On a shooting star !...

For My Loves
Auburn barnet, peaches and cream
A toy truck running on imagination and knee powers
Auburn barnet, peaches and cream
Enjoys mocha moolatte and hot chocolate steam
Riding a bike across the grass and flowers
Peddling along as if you always were
Auburn barnet, peaches and cream

Lack of Sight
Lack of sight,
You should be her knight,
Out peddling wood,
Oh, if I could,
Take your place,
Sense, you have not a trace

I don't understand,
How anyone in this land
Could be so blind,
Takes the stupid kind,

I guess a chance for me,
To atone you see,
For I was once as dumb,
As you seem to have become....

A Major Problem
sitting back
straight properly
putting my
fingers in
a slight
arch

at
my
piano
slightly
peddling
a melody

throwing in
arpeggios
and even
the odd
pause
as if

to
state
a period
of waiting
hesitating
as if to hold

the now
the then
forgotten
where fingers
fell but knowing
it was played in minor...

Premium Member Never Too Old
Never too old to have some fun
Peddling slowly with shaded eyes
Dressed to be fit in off-color Levi's
A noon-time bicycle ride out in the sun
Loving each other, loving life
So long they've lived; husband & wife
Never too old to have some fun

Stowaway Hopes
Stowaway Hopes

Merging the present

to the darkened distance

Stealthily stealing our future

Sliding away our hopes

Making a slideshow

Of our stolen past

peddling sorrows

To every hallow mind

Where fleeting thoughts have taken wings

Yesterday have come to perch

Resting with our past shadows

Soliloquizing our stolen dawn

Stowed away with the darkened night...

Marie
The chambermaid of the tavern her name Marie
Alluring captivating fair maiden all would agree
Smiling flirting undoubtedly her majored degree
Scurrying making the rounds not missing a knee
Many a fool who has sat on a stool including me
Envisioned her with enchanted dreams of fantasy
In no way am I saying she charges by an hourly fee
Just peddling spirits of seduction be her pedigree....

Beyond Dimensions
My daily ride to Sand Island
Is now a pleasant memory:
Beautiful, nameless wildflowers
Led the way on both sides of me
And their commingled fragrances
Intoxicated my senses-
Numb insubstantiality:
Reality doesn’t exist
in this fantastical stupor.
I was still mindful of peddling
But in an autopilot mode:
Safe, yet lost in dreamlike
Thought where past, present and future
continued in the same time-frame....

pathetic,
pitiful &
pigheaded

peddling his
propaganda by
preying on the
populace,
painting a
picture of the
“popular
pious

profanely
prays for
profit,
professing his
partisan
poisonous

party leaders,
potential donors &

paranoid

pontificators, who are
pushing for his

Prohibition In the Usa
Prohibition began one hundred years ago in the USA.
People had their right to drink booze taken away.
This made people unhappy and they began to whine.
And this caused Al Capone to start peddling moonshine.
Capone was evil and because of him, people were killed.
On December 5 1933, the 18th Amendment was repealed.
People were very happy because prohibition came to an end.
They were as giddy as school girls to have the right to drink again....

The Can Man
Furiously peddling the bicycle
The man is dwarfed
By the huge clear sack
On the bikes' back
Now swaying as it goes around the corner
Filled with brightly colored cans.

On another day he is seen
Pushing a grocery cart
Filled to the brim
With a clatter of tin
Clackety clack
Down the sidewalk.

Then again, he is here
With a black plastic bag
Slung over a shoulder
He is marching,
Marching towards the store.
Its Dan.
Dan the Can Man....

Premium Member In a wheel chair
Things drop on the floor.
One can't reach them any more,
in a wheel chair..
Furniture must be moved, to
get around, and just maneuve..
in a wheel chair..
High shelves now out of range,
upper body muscles strain,
in a wheel chair..
Feet peddling, tiny steps,but the
pain is so much less,
in a wheel chair..Must not be a moron,
when it's parked put brakes on,
in a wheel chair..
Keep positive.
Don't despair.
Many others reside there,
in a wheel chair.....

Changes
The Dark Delaware on my left
The defunct canal on my right
And me in the middle of both.
I’m heading south on the towpath
Peddling my hybrid all the way.
As to where? I haven’t a clue
It doesn’t really matter where
Just as long as I’m still able to
Peddle along this special place.
I’ve biked here since I was a kid.
Two things have changed since that time:
Back then I had a three speed Schwinn
Today I have twenty-one speeds;
Back then I was young, today… old....
