There's something funny about God
That some find decidedly odd
We look to the sky
And still wonder why
We only find peas in a pod
Death
took you from me.
Tears well up.
I miss you
Daddy.
Peas in a pod.
No one else could
read me like a book.
Sister where are you going?
Can I go along?
I reckon, but you have to do what I say!!
OK just so I can go, too!
Two peas in a pod.
Poetry and math - two peas in a pod.
Why then do you look at me so odd?
They’re both to discover and express
The simple truth beneath the mess.
Two peas in a pod
One still on Earth, One with God
Together Always

John John and I are like two peas in a pod
Limerick masters, pretty hard to dislodge
The top of the heap
A real clean sweep
Guess you could say we're limerick gods
I fervently pray I shall never see
Another like the incumbent Vee Pee
I cringe hearing her cackle
Such a useless debacle
Two peas in a pod are JoJo and she
Where is it written countries must be at odds
All part of the big picture all peas in a pod
Some feel inferior
But no one's superior
All part of the overall scheme, no one is God
I know its tough
Being a father
So early made.
But would you have any other--
Love, Wish, or Trade?
Probably not
Because we are two
Peas in a pod
Acknowledge through love
In a simple nod.
An exact duplicate, my son Scottie and me
Can read each other's mind, three times out of three
Can get closer than that
Two real cool cats
He drinks caesar after caesar till I can't see
I'm not like you
you're not like me
on that
you and I
we can agree
but
strange to say
and there's no mystique
Snap!
we're really all the same
in that...
we are all unique!
An exact duplicate, my son Scottie and me
Can read each other's mind, three times out of three
Can't get closer than that
Two real cool cats
He drinks caesars after caesars till I can't see
Jan Allison and Laura Loo are two peas in a pod.
Reading their clever poems, you certainly don’t nod.
The kind reviews from both ladies always make me smile.
They make Poetrysoup look great with their gracious style.
They are so old-fashioned, these two peas in a pod.
I heard this from Jake, Fred, Sally, Victor and Maud.
Saw them in public, they were wearing century old clothes.
Why they dress like this, I doubt that any other pea knows.

In a democracy, the leader aligns himself with the people
In a theocracy, the leader aligns himself with God
In a bureaucracy, the people fall in line behind the leader
In an autocracy, the people are peas in a pod
Markmanship, hunting and nature walks
are the activities of choice.
Anything is fine as long as Dad
and son are together,
Two peas in a pod.
Round green, black eyes,
purple hulls, zipper full.
Any kind is good in its own way.
There once a guy whose name was slim Jim
He had a best friend called little Tim
Two peas in a pod
Slim owned a hot rod
He wasn’t thin; hadn’t stepped foot in a gym

Like peas in a pod
Like birds of a feather
My twin and me
We stick together
Sharing the laughter
Sharing the tears
United together
We have no fears
My twin and me
Sister and brother
My twin and me
Always there for each other.
You and me together
Nothin' can stop us
Imagining our future
Two peas in a pod
Our minds are one
Livin' life
The way it's supposed to be lived
Not carin' 'bout the world
And its cliques
Just the two of us
Knowin' nothin' can go wrong
In our own little world
Us
Round was the plan
ripe and not squishy
You know Mary never
liked her peas too mushy.
The shells were flat
the crop was meager
and only one held two
peas in a pod for supper
Mary was contrary
and so her garden grew
with only empty pods
except for those two!
I was a stranger, you took me in
but I found you were stranger still.
I guess we’re two peas in a pod
cuz neither of us fits the bill
of all the many ways the world expects
two blokes like us to be.
You took me in, now we’ve become...
the strangest friends you’ll ever see.
two peas in a pod
add two snaps from each green bean
enough green soup for all

My Buddy
My Buddy
That’s what I call him
A term of affection
Best of friends
My Buddy
We’re inseparable
Joined at the hip
Two peas in a pod
My Buddy
Playmate for life
Affectionately secure
Intertwined at the heart
My Buddy
Each other’s world
Two of a kind
Father and son
Two beauties resting on my door
With olive skin and smiles to match
They make the others look blemished
With their flawless features
And I am one of them
Three peas in a pod
So similar, yet
Following no standards of splendor
