autumn weaves musty forest
moles tunnel humus pathways
wind whisking tweedy jacket
warming trial - damp boot days
bare feet kick up dust
on flower speckled pathways
powdered summer shouts
we go where bliss takes us
as it pierces pathways in form
anticipating nothing we just are
presence poised in this benign storm
ancient Roman roads
faded pathways to greatness
strong hillside grape vines
walled cities slowly crumbling
winemakers craft endures
Low gray skies fret
over winter's fading ruins
slushy pathways
squishy footprints
leaking to each side
A half-snowman's grumpy
dancing icy underfoot crackle pathways
moonlight loves the feminine presence prescience
laughter singing prayerful chants of thank you
ritual nurture
grandparent's farmland
passed down through generations
apple peach trees grow
overgrown pathways
barb wire fence contains thorned bush
wild berries florish

Form:
Parallel smoky white lines carve paths as
passage marked 'cross cobalt sky;
homeward-bound seraphim.

As Autumn days grow cold,
frost gilds green pathways gold.
A thing once swung with grace,
a swing: seems out of place.
This summer-only toy;
looks lonely: stripped of joy.
As each of our daily pathways
Which back home do lead
Darkens, so widens
Night"s abyss.
No more fearful these fall into
Knowing they're so bound
For sleep what's real for
Dream life's bliss.

PATHWAYS WALK-
I walk in my life's paths way
Do I keep straight or go right?
Should I stop?

bliss magnetism spikes
at any node kundalini likes
we know not the pathways
where Divine Mother hikes
as a mere receptor
we welcome offered surprise
offering no resistance
to the dawning of sunrise
positive expansion
away from negativity
is of essential importance
to the future outcome
refraining from allowing
the mind to wonder down
negative neural pathways
is key to mental reconstruction
bundled together, heart and mind
when aligned, we choose pathways kind
life simple, joy ineffable
be to become, Gods miracle
suffused with love, no longer blind

Leery was I of the maze
I entered with my young son.
Although a Halloween craze,
it was anything but fun.
Lost in twisting pathways, we
raced through it with dread 'til they
closed the place, and we were free!
a beautiful silence
spirals from turrets
that twist like the pathways
through the bracken and grass.
the stars that still shine here
are mapped out as numbers
in a gothic hereafter
for the tourists who pass.
As you became out
of control, out of touch,
out of sight, out of
your own depth at last
I learned that altering
for hinky pathways
will impede me from
knowing a higher self; a
journey toward the within.
Despite the anger,
the truth will
not speak.

It was a concussion,
after the fall.
A prophet had fainted-

in midsentence.
A blue vase was broken
in the smell of roses.

A more naked light filters through
branching nervous systems.
A fade and shade
seeps into dendritic pathways
shedding forever
falling leaves,
recollections of so many
dissolving
autumnal moments.
imagery,
vistas,
portals
of vision,
a vibrant
panorama:
pathways
to the poetic
to explore
to expose
words..
to
devise:
to
distill
thoughts

yet spoken
