My old friend
Permit me a muse
To delve in the ruse
And emptiness
To fill it
Walking to avoid
That s***
I now have page six
Nothing short of amazing
I will boast loudly
I should be rewarded with
Eternal blue rose gardens
Her lips
are soft,
fragile
petals
of a wild
pink
rose,
Whose kiss
is so
delicate,
it compels me
to compose.
Sunrise, sunset,
another New Year's Day
has arrived.
Old age is here,
it caught me by surprise
as I turned the page
Life’s an anthology…
death written once
The chapter elusive

I’m bored of this scene,
Last ties to be severed now,
Be still or restless,
Reflection takes me back to,
A place I don’t want to be.
When the freedom
to think
And the ability to write
are at odds
—turn the page

BLANK PAGE
a blank page whispers,
ink spills like a timid stream—
where have the words gone?
The young Queen was in a rage
She needed the advice of a sage
She craved to be free
And wanted to flee
To start a new life with her page
I hope that you know,
even when I don’t say it;
You run through my mind,
filling the spaces and lines;
That dog eared page I turn to.
A page fell foul of the king
He played rude songs in a ring.
His bum was spanked red
Live frogs he got fed
He croaked each time he could sing.
(with the understanding
that these words
do not appear in this
blank space, what
remains is what this is,
and what we are
and not even~~~)
One too many poems: like a barking dog at
The Garden gate: oblivious to the beauty of the Garden, and
Unwilling to let anybody else in it.
a blank page
will drive you crazy,
if you let it.
impish thing!
blank page!!
I see you!!
yeah,
YOU!
I SEE YOU!!!

Little Jill Page
Longed for the stage,
Heaving a dramatic sigh;
She clutched at her heart,
And blasted a fart,
And said, "a divine presence am I!"
I am reading about a poor chap,
by a killer led into a trap.
I’ve been biting my nails
at the ending’s details,
but the last page is missing. Oh, crap!
A blank page is ready
For the pen to begin
Spreading the words
One letter at a time
Then one paragraph
Followed by another
Until the poem has
ended
Whispers on the page
rise like starlight finding form~
quiet, silver-bright.
I breathe, and the unseen world
leans close, asking to be born.
There once was a contest winners page.
I heard that it was all the rage.
People would go there to see,
If they had sweet victory,
But, it's been gone for a coons age.
River transports far
Everything the banks offer
Sea becomes a museum.
Life writes strange stories
Time carries to the future
On torn page of history.

MAN TRIES TO SHOOT HIS WIFE, SWAT TEAM CALLED IN TO HELP HIM
(This was on the front page of our local paper. I think to myself, "Well do they get her?)
A poem presses page
To pot I rant and rave
To Amsterdam sizzle
Smoke hash in the drizzle
It’s no small task
Just bitter-less tact
In driving my bees
To insanity please
Words in a book as time embrace
Only the wind now turn the pages
The power of words lay silent the world
Now sun and stars left of the ages
And the book will hold time in place
