Yellow Stone
A white rose
bathes within
the beautiful radiance
pouring forth from
the yellow stone
resting at base of the
ozone layer---
simulating a beauty of the
highest rarity;
A pacifying desire
beats across my knees; dissolving
into puddles of hunger...

The Coffin Sways
The coffin sways;
The people grumbles;
Popping out drinks to libation,
Pacifying with the ancestors to receive the deceased;
As so is thought of the content in the coffin
Unwilling to depart into the grave:
The coffin sways, and what is thought dead,
Has awakened from a long lasting coma;
Kicking and shouting so loud, but no one could possibly hear.
The coffin rest on holds of the family: swaying, and who cares....

The Violinists Vendetta
As the hail makes love to the streets
I query its vendetta with I
What had I done to be defamed
By such unforeseen chagrin

The sound ‘tis the climax of the horizon
Echoes that of a violinist scarred by sexual mortification
The harmony plays in quite a lovely manner
Could hook one quickly if not careful

Appeased I sit in a wooden, black chair
And saturate in fine rock refrains
A pacifying compensation if I may say
A scripted version of hell...

Listen to poem:
Sometimes the dry desert wind
Strips slowly the sandless skin
Of the soul

Gentle balm of the wide Spirit
Settling upon the surface
Singing a song of suppleness

Message of the mindful reflection
From the internal mirror
Of the heart

Home to the fruitful Spirit
Residence of the restoring, loving kindness
Of the refreshing riverside

Where solace comes, pacifying
With the sounds trickling and dancing
Over cool stones of thought

My Little Universe-Lexi's Personal Planet
MY LITTLE UNIVERSE—LEXI'S PERSONAL PLANET (Visual 1) Penned in a poetry permissive as a periwinkle painting palette’s passive paths to pain Petty philosophy added to phobias perils perishing peace in selfish pedantic prose Passing parodies of passion on paper permeate pacifying periodic paralysis, a paltry pardon Phoney photoflashes, the profound performance persist perfectly profound on my personal planet © Kim van Breda

Amusing Decor
Unfaithful useless utter
Demeaning devoured décor
Violent vicious venom
Mockingly medaling more

Creative cautious coalition
Against all amidst abate
Struggling sanely satisfied
For a ferocious frigid fate

Dominate destructive deity
Proud pacifying past
Loathing lustrous lividity
Fictitiously falling fast

Gallantly ghastly grounded
Remaining reluctantly recluse
Distance desired deadliness
Amusing agonistic abuse

Inheritance
I kneel
before an altar of dreams
and haunt the tombs
of the Unobtainable.

I can't quiet the restlessness;
there is no pacifying
that ancient,
hand-me-down heirloom
to own an Elysium
I can not describe.

Is it my inheritance
to long for fire
with the sun in my hand
and thirst for a stream
with the Nile in my mouth.

Will I forever crave magic
and gorge myself on it
only to vomit truth
so I might own the emptiness again
and once again
satisfy my restlessness?...
