A rainbow suddenly appeared
It shined so bright that its
Colors called out to the world
Warning of possible danger
That could destroy or
Overtake the world
Peace and love are strong
their description is so hard
they bleed just the same
people pray for both
yet war and hate overtake

It's when I was about to overtake her
I thought I'd give up.
Within my second reflection, I decided
Man? Woman?
Both of us are humans
Let her fight like me too.
When I heard that the first would be last,
I was so completely aghast
that I slammed on my brake
and let those behind me overtake

Causing bewilderment
What will be left of the world in it's wake
My mind is cloudy
And seeming to tighten
Flashes if anguish
Pain, torment and loss

sweet Honeysuckle
curls about the fence, reaching
out to the roses

My dog went out today
Over the hills and far away
He went as fast as he could run
To overtake the setting sun
The sky grew darker
And scared that barker

Overwhelmed & Exhausted
A decision to make
Venture out onto that
Autobahn of Freeways
Shake & Bake
Wide Awake & Overtake...
Turn the other way
Crash & Burn
Maddening price to pay
Yet ~
Overwhelmed & Exhausted
A DECISION to make
OF LOVE
The lover's tongue
Grows a bouquet of pregnant words,
That proclaims momentary eternity.
The inflamed heart races fast
Like hundred frightened footsteps
To overtake time and impel it.
Love plays with time, beyond time.
Love carries the cross of goodness,
And fills the void of understanding!
Let slumber overtake thee
And pleasant dreams ignite thee
For a moment in the dark
Is but a blink of an eye in the realm of beauteous dream
Take flight as you sleep
And do not fear for the future
For there is more love than what meets the eye
And it will bind all worry and pain
