sweet Honeysuckle
curls about the fence, reaching
out to the roses
Wanting to cradle their blooms
in a gentle vine embrace

Inspired by the honeysuckle on my backyard gate and the roses it tries to overtake

Neat piece, brevity at its best, Paula. I can visualize your piece perfectly; I am a gardener myself. In reality, it would likely be a choking embrace. But the poem is cute. SEVEN.
