Keep Fighting

it’s worth 
not giving in
not giving up
how I yearn
for fortitude
to overtake my heart
and release dark thoughts 
and stormy clouds
that fill my sky
and weigh me down
how I pray for 
sunny days
of freedom

I say I forgive and wait for a good feeling and it does not come. I must trust God to read my heart and know I have forgiven that person. It is a divine thing.
