Buried Downtown

Outnumbered by loud engines and concrete blocks
Furious crowds and mobs ignore your existence
Till you clutch your way back home

They Say

They say
We have strength in numbers
But I’d rather stand as two
You and I
We may be outnumbered
But we are warriors in this world
The two of us
Will overwhelm you all

The Only Punk Rock Girl

Outnumbered
1756 to one
I stood alone
I stood
Alone
In a culture of music
Unlike anyone else's
Flogging Molly
Scathed my back
With mad plaid in my mind
And Was Beder Das
Youth of rebellion
I stand true.

Dont Hold Back

In the darkness not a soul in sight
Outnumbered but still join the fight
All around you there’s no where to turn
It’s time to sink or swim I know you’ll learn
Stand your ground there’s no where to run
Gave it your all don’t hold back for anyone

Joe Friday Just the Facts ----Contest

JOE FRIDAY

Friday’s world was black and white
                   truth
                   was always right

How can our world condone a moral gray
When men of honor are outnumbered by the fray?

Vastly Outnumbered

Unseen, pollen floats suspended…

Asthmatic reactions in stratos.

Although a landscape looks barren…

Organism legions live in strata.

Salt water is so prevalent…

Thirsty humans can’t drink frothy surf.

adjectives ooze like black blood

words tiptoe through my mind’s dendrite fields
struggling with an inner battle
do they want to be shared
or merely heard by someone?

adjectives ooze like black blood
under the shut doors of my brain
I feel outnumbered and overpowered
my pen smiles as I reach for him

The Peoples Vote

If we don’t Leave,
riots in the cities,
anger won’t cease
invalid democracy
economy decrease
millions go crazy
blind to a peace
Remain minority
Leave the beast

The Peoples Vote march in numbers
The Peoples Vote are outnumbered
blind ignorant dumber
stop being such bummers

Diary of a Tree

I danced with joy for a soft breeze,
Forefathers knows me by wisdom,
My numerous arms keeps you at ease,
My clans makes a wonderful kingdom.

My kind gives you fruits and comfort,
I protect you from the heat waves,
Yet, everyday I am outnumbered,
Your forefathers will lament from graves.

Desolate Trekker

A desolate trekker who walks undauntedly,
Truth moves slowly but surefootedly
Through matted crowds of lies,
Ever stung by lethal fangs of vice.

Her trek through moistureless terrains
Unperturbedly winds on amidst pains;
Outnumbered by loathing children of gloom,
Till the coming of Diablo’s definite doom.

Simply Scorned

I can see it in their eyes
their disdain piercing through
my ignorant gaze
rolling in discontent
weakening my resolve
as they close to dismiss
my very existence

I can hear it in their voices
with deliberate tones of sarcasm
to destroy my esteem
throwing facetiously coy remarks
to challenge my will
outnumbered in unison
to quell me into silence

Hollow Grams

Distant meandering,
macro denial
the moment a slave
to eternity’s child

Caught on a tether,
all freedom a myth
the boundaries self-serving
with nothing at risk

The sum past the tally,
its measure unscored
the players outnumbered
their names to obscure

Distant meandering,
macro denial
a lens that won’t focus
—an image beguiled

Burn Back Brighter In the Burner

They say they are legion,
But outnumbered they are
And bound by treason
A cold blow to fit the season
A cold show to stretch without reason
A boundary crossed,
God will not tolerate much longer
With all the mocking birds,
Those sing songers...
As volcanoes erode
And the earth's axis throws off the coast.
Build Back Better=Burn Back Brighter in the Burner until toast.

It Was Only a Matter of Time

It was only a matter of time
Before times day was outnumbered

Everything must come to an end
And in the end time does too

So, time already knew this
But took its time with a grain of salt

Oh, I mean sand
Like an hourglass

Your time is at hand
Time comes to a stop not just dividend

Time wears its best face
So, like time be efficient or your time will erase

Navel Gazing

The universe
In my navel
Where it all began
From the mother of all mothers
tongue tied
to a tree
naked
No wool to pull over these eyes

They're up here by the way

Pondering the microcosm of a belly button
The flora and the fauna

Crazy when you think that
By the sum of our parts
We are outnumbered ten to one and

Eve didn't even have a belly button

How do ya' like them apples?

Out of Control

Oh Lord, my time is running out.
Obedience, I try, but my flesh is weak.
Overwhelmed with life, I shout.
Outnumbered by my own feelings,
Over-spilling, yet it's my own undoing.
Obstacles come from every direction slapping my cheek.
Over and over, steering, jerking me, left to right
Out of control at moments, it bites.
Once again Lord, stand by my side, unfurl
Outstretched arms and take control of my world.

Sheryl and Julie

Sheryl was as strong as a rose
Her beauty matched the finest petal
But it was the thorns which were like a tornado,
Taking its toll on all but a few left astray

Julie acted like a queen
Her smarts were outnumbered
But it was the power which held her down,
The wrath of it all was too strong

Sheryl and Julie would search till the end of time
To find what they needed
Their patience and understanding matched the clock,
But the tick of each second drove them insane

The Road To Glory

The road to glory, dead in fields
the fallen men,with broken shields
who gave their lives so valiantly,
the price of freedom for you and me
The road to glory dead in fields

Mortars falling from the sky
when they burst,men will die
for our freedom it came to be
The road to glory dead in fields

The best to offer our Country's yield
greatly outnumbered, their fates are sealed
fighting an enemy they rarely see
my last tour here then home I'll be
The road to glory dead in fields
