The Road To Glory

The road to glory, dead in fields
the fallen men,with broken shields
who gave their lives so valiantly,
the price of freedom for you and me
The road to glory dead in fields

Mortars falling from the sky
when they burst,men will die
for our freedom it came to be
The road to glory dead in fields

The best to offer our Country's yield
greatly outnumbered, their fates are sealed
fighting an enemy they rarely see
my last tour here then home I'll be
The road to glory dead in fields

Interestingly presented topic that I could go several different ways with my interpertation. Keep the magical pen flowing. Sara
