Yellow
diamonds,
just stopping by-
wag their tails..onwards
they fly
note yellow wagtails on our garden trees yesterday
Love is a ripple
In the ocean that is life:
Resembling vast waves,
Echoes of love flow stronger
As the ripple moves onwards.
Floating embers swivel golden flames go up

Blossoming onwards
Know you’re worthy of success;
God…navigating…
Like flowers of spring,
Your destiny is assured;
God…cultivating…
Plow onwards in faith,
Rowing towards your greatness;
God…fertilizing…
Tinkering over the pebbles
flowing freely onwards
smoothly
leaving in its wake soft ripples
as it travels homewards
blithely.

A Mountain climbing I will go
over the foot paths
Over the cobble stones
Up and up I go step by step
higher and higher I climb
Over the boulders and over the rocks
Onwards and upwards
to the tip pity top I go.
That smiley exterior
Onwards from morn
Once you had worn
Now drabbly overlayed with
Its own sort. Lorn.

Don’t look on our memories in sadness

If I was a lighthouse
I'd shine like a beautiful star
My light would echo onwards
Shining brightly and oh, so far
All I'd ever have to do
Is think loving thoughts of you
It would shine from inside my soul
Deep and pure and true

The full moon
In the corner of my right eye
Someone familiar
On front of me
The pavement, a concrete conveyor belt
Confusion of the city obscures
Annoyingly
In a blink the moon and the someone familiar
Disappear behind things
Other thoughts are conveyed to me
I wonder onwards

On a grevillea tree
I look at them eat seed
They soar noisily onwards
Towards the next seedy tree
Send pigeons I had asked Of
Hornbills problems am reminded
There is no washing your hands off
No pigeon just a couple of noisy hornbills
Resting on one neglected grevillea branch
