All the dawns of all the morns
Swing back the seaweed’s draft,
Brings to me the octopus, hid deep
From spear’s cruel laugh.
An Armed Octopus
By Jared Smith
An octopus went
off to battle. A good thing
that he was fully armed.

Honolulu's Pothole State Park
Is a scary place after dark
With potholes so deep
Anything could creep
From octopus to Great White Shark!
Some days I wish I had eight arms
that I could wrap around you…
those days when two arms don’t seem to be enough
when only an octopus hug will do
The octopus sometimes forgets
Its suckers when gerbils it pets.
It sticks to its arm,
Then falls, to some harm,
Which both of them deeply regrets.
A seaman called, "Octopus" Dennis
Was known to the girls as a menace
A sign from Above
Predicted "True Love"
"But you gotta go out and play tennis!"
Mother gives us birth
And she gives us faith,
To fight all obstacles
Which are like Octopus tentacles,
She is so cool
As she helps us to use a tool.

To fight all obstacles
Which are like Octopus tentacles,
She is so cool
As she helps us to use a tool.

The lusty octopus Louise
Loved giving young sailors the squeeze
With her tentacles great
She could satisfy eight
Leaving all hands on deck with large hickeys
The once was an octopus named Seymour
who lived in a cliff by the sea shore.
Each of his eight arms
wielded various charms
so the ladypusses all sought out Seymour.
A sailor one day, while out sailing
Thought he heard someone screaming and wailing
The source of the shout
As he later found out
Was an octopus tied to the railing
His prickly quills were more than a few,
her black ink was seldom used,
octopus in sink,
porcupine got ink,
their writing poems making headline news.

Imagine having eight arms and three hearts
Like an octopus, don't know where to start
We learn a new skill
First time, what a thrill
Making love with eight arms and three hearts
The mermaids ball music still lingers .
Swordfish Fred and his shoal of sweet singers
Had a whale of a time
On the octopus slime
Caressed by their salty fish-fingers .
The icky sticky squid-man
Squeezed from the water spout
Leapt up my nose and
Sucked my brains right out.
Dug deep inside me
with all his slimy legs
Inside my skull hole
He laid a thousand eggs.
The octopus has
Eight arms and a lot of ink
But can't even write
He had hands just like an octopus
Made me want to scream out loud and cus
I fixed him a deep stare
Made him very aware
Touch my boobies - I’ll make a huge fuss
15th November 2014
celestial octopus glided down from star to star
heaven warned him of proximity, do not go too far
he had a range of which he was to be confined
ultimate goal was to teach the sharks to be a bit more kind.
In spite of his charm and stunning good looks
Been accused by the fuzz of being a crook
Stole the hearts of young girlies
With his humour quite earthy
He possessed more arms than an octopus
As well as my charm and amazing good looks
You'd think I had tentacles like an oversexed octopus
My looks tend to make
Young girlies double take
And fight for a piece of this silly old schnook
