Silently Seeking Wisdom

Im the one that sits in silence;
Observes the world-
With open eyelids.
As the world spins in chaos,
Only multiplied by time,
Humility will pay off
With the wisdom we will find.

Premium Member In The Mirror

Who is this person who observes?
Familiar, from old photographs
the similarity unnerves:
I laugh the way he also laughs.
Eyes close, the image disappears,
as does my father, and my fears.

birds rising on the breeze
hue of blue in mountain lake
borrowed from the sky

time tables ignored
mountains rise at their own pace

tranquil and serene

Autumn Leaves

Autumn leaves
in the color of the sun
feed the Earth

Branches bare and gaunt
decorate the sky...
life in disguise

The crow descends
and observes
humanity in winter

Spring whispers;
crocuses stir
and meet the sun

New Verse Begins

The layman will ask…
  always questioning what

The poet observes…
  always adding a why

The universe inhales
  within the difference

And with each ensuing breath,
—new verse begins

(Villanova Pennsylvania: August, 2016)

The Coastguard

Above the choppy,
viewed from
behind the glassy
winded and floppy.
He observes the flossy
dark black rolling
white and frothy.
Salt filtered manes blown
acrossy limpits rocky
trapping olde anchors rusty
amongst filleted fishy
sea

F I S H

The fish comes to the surface of water
to observe the earth world
of men...
 Sights what it sees, and
feels the danger...
For just a moment,
 it analyzes , observes...concludes
it's not solid ground...
So he dives back
to its aquatic world...!

Don'T Tell Me: Alexis Karpouzos

Don’t tell me the stars
stopped to dream.
Don’t tell me the birds don’t fly.
Don’t tell me the kids
stopped crying.
Don’t tell me the lovers are lost.
Observes occur around you.
Listen blessings dropping
their blossoms arround you.
Don’t tell me!

Now How About That

Vibrant swirls, searching a canvass of black
Creating a world of colures,
Taken from a gunnysack…
The mind explores all it observes,
There is no turning back~
Admirations, full of life deserved;
The portrait is complete, all concur,
Now how about that…

Emptying the Reserves

Growing older, one observes
That energy starts waning.
Though it’s not what one deserves,
There’s no use in complaining.

Aging throws us learning curves
To deal with verve that’s draining.
When nothing’s left in the reserves,
It’s time for some refraining.

Premium Member Friend Or Fake

The treachery of a false friend
is sudden, cutting—always cruel;
his knavery observes no end
and he’ll use you like a drunk fool.

He’ll play you like a violin,
like a puppet on a tight string;
before long he’ll get you to sin
and do a lawless, evil thing.

Hero (Double Acrostic, End Line Word)

Hostility does not deter the hero He

Endures the pain of arrows without an Echo

Ringing complain wherever he Roams

Oneness of heart with his dreams he Observes.

Me And Others Life's Viewpoint

The things I observes,
Become the observer and the observed
They become part of my personality
To the eyes of others,
I become the subject and the object
To them comes the subjective or the objective view
And as I see them too,
Any judgement comes from me I demote or promote.
