My memories
My mourning and frustration
is persistent decrepit
just like naked misty sucidal path
that run through me.
I can't stand the sound of a mourning dove
Because it take me back Home
And I'm not there anymore
It's my favorite bird
August comes, reminds
Of Nation's Father
Green field still holds the fresh blood!

the mourning dove coos
a sad melody outside
calming in life's grief

a time of sadness
a time of mourning
a death
a dark shroud over the realm

The pits of death
My broken heart
Skipping beats a warning
One day I guess my heart will stop
From living life in mourning.
The discolored leaf
safeguards a raindrop left by
the inclement storm
Entered in Raul Moreno's contest,
" Mourning Calm "
The narrow hall of mourning
pathway to my grief
Darkened by each memory lost
—there in stark relief
(Dreamsleep: May, 2022)
whistle dentist ties bounds
jewells rate capture mourning ear
balcony right sings doom
accordion flies
harvest room miss bows
Insatiable are
Their greed millions of graves digs
Heavens in mourning!

son coming home
black dress draped on bed
will she survive mourning
Dedicated to all the mothers who have lost a son to war.
I weep not for you
I cry not for a failed hope,
a dream discarded,
but only sigh and lay these
small words at the feet of time.
say a solemn prayer
long before the mourning cries
yesterday is gone
fly with me September air
hate is just a memory

heaven is heavy
with the tears of angels
shed for falling stars...
pain's knocking at heavens' gates
asking for its toll of salt...
Swallows migrate South...
dark birds in a starless sky
mourning motherland.
Entered in Raul Moreno's contest, " Tattered Wings "
the chill of tombstone
resists the fall of jade lawn
cross entrusted perch
eagle guardian spirit
haunt the field of past mourning
A dam cracks open,
no water,
no flood.
Mourning doves coo on,
dry feathers.
Once more a high tide
sweeps away
nothing at all.
The sound of morning birds
I hear
Is a soft and constant sobbing.
I could not sleep the night before,
You'd think that no one did.
I planted flower seeds
on my rabbit's grave
and they never came up.
But today, by the cross,
was a buttercup
and that is all I need.
Sixty-six stupid senseless stories,
Forty-five fearless fired fights,
Made my manly mourning matters
Even endlessness ends exclusively.
You copped down the Magnolia tree,
it was one hundred years old, easily;
and now I am in mourning;
you should have given me a warning!
Eyes shine like moon
Envelopes like cocoon
Face of teary monsoon
Mourning loss of life
Reeling difficult time
Healing not in sight
In innocent lie
Amidst the lightening dew
Poppies in mourning
She unknown, taken at will
Where now a butterfly sits
.
empty swollen eyes
mourning all the yesterdays
finding no solace

days
of leaves
gold and red
fallen to ground
trees became barren
limbs in mourning
for their loss
cold dark
nights
