Guardian Spirits

the chill of tombstone
resists the fall of jade lawn
cross entrusted perch
eagle guardian spirit
haunt the field of past mourning

You really created the atmosphere in the cemetery so well, Deb, and I adore the last line. Congratulations on your win in the Bald Eagle in the Cemetery contest! I judged blindly and there were many great entries, so you should feel proud. Love, Carolyn
