Misdirection
I tried to catch that
dark star
in silent despair
   even
knowing
he was already
   lost
to me...

Tell Me Again, Where
A repetition of a dream
On a train of steam
Lost on different platforms here
With peoples misdirection
The train rolls without destination
As If to say, you will never find your way....

Blinding Inertia
Blinding inertia bleeds extruding from your peripheries. Inverse cognition conjuring
within your grasp. To accommodate the psyche beyond id, clarity overtakes the
divine misdirection....

Janus
She's a goddess, true poetry in motion.
The kind that has you sacrificing yourself in devotion.
Hypnotised, I move her sway.
With no question of acceptance, live to dance in her ballet.
I found a light, a beacon of perfection.
Then once I'm at worst I find it's lies and misdirection....

the two day stubble
helps her grasp
my face in her hands
and the obvious chaos
clean shaven, i’m smooth,
hard to hold,
providing misdirection,
and appear faster than I am
i’ve slipped away before
staring into my eyes,
she sees my substance
what i’m made of, the bones
how different my structure
from my words, my actions...

Feral footprints awaken underbrush of forests pensive
   Random pitter-patter through twilight's misdirection
Aching winds, intimate branches stir, questing homeward
Anguished rains, ere stifling seasons muffle senses...

Tender seas toss lucky lovers sun-drenched kisses
Waves so gently crescendo, drawing destiny
      to Silky Streams of Sentience...

If You Only Knew...
Do you wish you were like me?
Is my happiness all you can see?
Not that that's all there is,
But whats left of my sanity is now his...

What you think is my perfection,
Is actually your misdirection.
I love you all and non love me,
'Least that is what I am lead to believe...

"Happy with spring!"...
But thats just the thing....
If you only knew....
I wish I was like you......

labyrinth of redemption

Paid When Balance Is Due
PAID WHEN BALANCE IS DUE

SOME say death is by chance
  a twist of fate
merely happenstance
and others take the rein
believing death by their own hand
I say death is the magician
a slight of hand -- misdirection
allowing humans to believe
the end is fate or self-fulfilled
but angels see the cold pact
  forged before time itself

Life is a ledger and always
  paid when balance is due.

Aching Heart
Indigestion
Is the question
Brain illusion
Or misdirection

Doctor's pill
This sickly ill
Cannot repair
To fit the bill

Just time to heal
Oh, heartache feel
Is all to quell
My ache and reel

Restlessness
Just to confess
Invades my very
Consciousness

A hope that sticks
Physician's tricks
The long-shot risk
Of one more fix

Like fracture weld
Or soulful meld
Simple solution..
Just to be held

Hugh Mcgonagle
Hugh
A gentle soul, a humble son, shed softly in the garden
Seduced by man, led to betray, a life to pray for pardon.
Tones which spoke, with perfect tune, would pierce his tender marrow
To release joy, or conjure pain, and make his being narrow.
He’d disperse fear from absent light and shadowed misdirection.
He did not learn to seek a sight, nor tangible collection
He built a strong and simple home and slept forever grateful
McGonagle...

A Taste of Deception
Exploration
By the lead of deception,
A grip of fraudulent rope,
Confusion and misdirection...
A harness to a fake chariot of hope,
Reversed acceleration,
A practical joke?

If it ceases to be yours
When you cease to be yourself,
Then, what is yours
And who are you
To tell me where to go
Or where I can sleep
Or what I must own?
Sorry, my dear friend
But try some else...

My Hole My Home
Here I am your fool again
waiting for your misdirection
I've fallen out of place again
won't you help me
find my home

Won't you help me...find my home
I just want to be all by myself
I just want to be..all..by...myself
I just want to be..alone
NOT care about no body else

I'm strung by out in space again
alone in this void..I call home

Won't you help me..find my home
I just want to be..all.by..myself
I just want to be ..alone
NOT care about..no...body else...

Sands
A simple life an ordinary life
Complicated by a fractured heart
Unfinished, barely begun
Waiting for the green light
Too late for forgiveness to start
Mistaken path for a lonely soul
Misdirection, the one way to become whole
Hot tears can't reclaim the space
Kneeling, unflinching, Face
Darkness that must be borne
Before revealing a countenance of grace
Voices echo from far away
Beseeching merciful hands
As life fades inside itself
Grasp a soul slipping under
Shifting sands....

Losing Game
I thought that I was in control
and my mind dominated my heart
but I can see that wasn't true
and should have from the start

there's nothing for a future
there's nothing that never was
a realm of intangible aspects
your heart's not capable of

I should have seen the truth
it was written plain on the wall
a dark path of misdirection
for a heart that was enthralled

do what's right for you
and I will do the same
the wounds will heal eventually
I'm quitting this losing game...
