That went to the track to for a bet,
      Their singing exploded
   When their pockets got loaded,
From a topical tip called, " Minuet "

Timid Heart

Heart
Beats fast,
As I watch
Her body moves
In dazzling minuet;
Emotion beyond words,
Yet, before I could touch her
In haste, she was slipped away by
The amazing Romeo next door;
I despise myself, for I let her go.

Time

We go through this world
Feeling like we have enough time,
Like the earth revolves around us,
We don’t realize that with
Every minuet that passes,
Is another minuet that we
Can never get back,
So whether you eat or drink
Or whatever you do,
Do it all for the glory of God

Love Letter From the Soul Minuet

Her eyes light up when I enter her view
a radiance reflecting
off the mirrors of our soul
a deep penetration of mind
our love language unique
a rarity to find
she mouths her intentions modestly
feeling drawing us inside
just two in the wind coming together
I am hers, she is mine

Minuet Dream

Oh, save me a dance
Sweet lady of mine
Oh, save me a dance this eve
I wish to glide
Dance floor, we’ll slide
Then dreams come true
I believe

Oh, save me a kiss
Sweet lady of mine
Oh, save me a kiss this eve
I wish to taste
Though not in haste
Then from me a kiss
You’ll receive

And dusk invites
more bouncing glee,
as ribbons knot
Queen Fey’s gold stick
like wiggles coil
on toes, how free
to laugh around
while clouds frolic.
when kiddies shout,
"let's pirouette",
while hours sway
in minuet!

happy
     so happy
look
      about,
what
       do you see
everything
      is glad to be
     alive...
the sun
          shines
even
      when it
it's
     raining
         outside,
clap,clap
as we dance
as we jive..
..alive..alive

Premium Member Another Day Fades and Dies

Softly, the sun shimmers with golden glimmers
as a sanguine sunset dances a marvelous minuet.
Past the time of twilight skies, another day slowly dies,
only to be reborn again on tomorrow's misty morn.
With the warmth of radiant rays, Sol deftly displays
Dawn's luminous light in place of celestial starlight.

IN-denrut-SIDE
Gave a smile itself
took a tear to sit at the ocean

in a black
hold up wait a minuet
i am not a serial killer

isn't that what a serial killer would say

A Fire On Ice

On a great rink
where no one could sink
she puts a smile and her faith
Now this young girl is ready to skate

A perfect triple pirouette
combining the magical minuet
Excellent somersaults... she did it twice
Her grand leaps made fires on ice

Her flaming dance of passion
was an intense fusion
and this winter...
she is the winner

strange how the day shuts down, suddenly bleak, as when the dawn crested three-quarters past six. cumbersome eyelids befriend pen and ink — outline of skinny trees, lack of stars, hush’d homes — fig leaves do not hide them. visible neighbors smoking chimneys. the sooted smell of winterscape as she falls fast asleep. 12/18/2019

Minuet

While I sit here
holding you
deep in my arms
whispering to you
so many reasons to live..
Take a minuet
to wipe the tears from your eyes
and tell me one reason
to breathe...

Christmas Cheer

The kids fare in the window looking for Rodulph
The parents are in the kitchen drinking egg nog
Putting last minuet gifts around the tree
Strung with lights for the outside to see
Stockings are hung above the fire place
Cookies being made, dough all over the little one's face
Can't wait till morning to see what Santa brings
Merry Christmas and Seasons Greetings!

Moth-winged Minuet

Closing my eyes I flew
from lonely chair
through open window
in mesmerized anticipation.
Drawn toward the glowing
warmth of the porch light.
Flames torched my heart
as another circled.
The crickets kept time
as we danced
a moth-winged minuet
of transparent melancholy.

Time oh Time, how you have become an enemy to me
The sands runs through the glass too slowly
The minuet hand assumes the pace of the hour hand
And the hour hand takes a millennium to complete rotation
The sun lazily climbs the steps into the sky and the
Moon is stubborn to return with her children
Do you not want to see tomorrow like I do?
A whole new horizon to explore
