The blind man visited you
With the help of his stick…
You let him in.
When he left you found out that
Your wallet has gone…
It's hard to be minimalistic
When everything seems worth keeping
And I can't keep my mind clean
When everything seems worth keeping
snowflake
journey over
resting

The dyed bamboo of Chinese finger traps
Should have taught me everything
To strive is to cut through jungle
To surrender is to know
I am jungle

Life choosing whichever theme
May be peerless on quality prime.
At last ends in burial
turning trivial.

A tincture
of anguish drips
inside your mouth-
held back
when you should scream
and only have yourself
to hear.

I am not verbose, I am laconic,
at most, I shorten the poem,
I diminish the lie,
I stabilize the truth,
I am a minimalist poet!
Frugality
Spending on things that's
really necessary
in restrained manner.

Minimalism
A technique that's marked
by extreme sparseness, simple
wilful lack of style.

All I need
Is God
All I want
Is God
All else is a meaningless
Exercise in frivolity
For you can only
Leave this world
With what you came in with

Quaint
gas street lamps;
not too many are left.
Their soft, warm, amber glows
replaced by hard, cold, white beams;
the new L E D technology
of our advanced,
modern age.

One
told us,
learn from
the flowers
and birds--
beautiful
and
thriving--
with
no cares
joyfully give
be content
love
two coats?
give one away

In your passing
I promised love everlasting
and now in the seasons return
I promise not to cry
I lie.

my needs are simple
when isolated
from my wants
it took a while
to realize
my many wants
were mere
obstructions
preventing me
from
focusing
on my dreams

Redeem time* to the utmost
by God’s triumphant might
fulfilling His will; faith-driven
while loving neighbors as yourself.
*Colossians 4:5 Walk in wisdom ... redeeming the time.

white
a sensation of floating
suspended
in
an emblematic
essence
of infinity
distilled down
transcending
the conventional
a pure form
an absence
of colour
as a timeless presence
perfectly aligned
questioning
reshaping
the undertones
of enigma
with
an interplay of shades
meditative,
therapeutic
as
a whisper
in the
maze
of imagination
I love a blank canvas
how it focuses the eyes.
It’s black and white without
the usual vestige of messy
attention-grabbing details.
We’ll color those in later,
spending our creative time
whitewashing it with the precision
of our own nervous perfectionism.
We’ll strip away minimalism for cultural
resonance and focus the razor attention
of ‘couture’ obsession and wider comment.
