Close the blinds
stop the music
turn off the 4th of July
concentrate on the
light show
behind one closed eye
in a ball in the
dark
pain in endless supply
There's a little green man in my head,
With a hammer that's made out of lead,
He bangs day and night,
Just so that he might,
Make sure all my brain cells are dead!

TWINKU a double word distich with integral title
There is an ob-gyn named Doctor Payne
He guarantees he'll live up to his name
When his patients groan
He whacks their skullbone
Delivers the baby plus a migraine
Nagging pain invades my eye; the aura lasts for weeks.
Stabbing, searing hot poker jabs into my brain; branding my eye.
Migraine owns me now; there are no drugs to relieve my agony.
Contents of Trump's Brain
Wonder what are contents of Trump's brain,
That were causing us to have huge migraine;
Chief of Staff,
A big laugh,
And to us they both sure are such a big pain.

O wretched fate, that smites his brow with thunder in the trembling boughs.
The very sun doth pierce his skull; each leaf conspires with whispered woes.
“Alas, poor me,” he cries, “I knew me well”—then swoons upon the grass.
The embered clock chimes
Mother time palls a migraine
The momentary instinct tells
Welcome to the Citadel
answering the question
AM I the TIDE
lapping along
the uncertainty of time
chilled me to the bone
The automobile breezes
down the liquorice whip,
nonpareil dotted roadway
as the searing sun strobes lances
through the frozen forest;
piercing projections, phospheneal auras,
dance as retinal afterthoughts
within the cornea of man.
Sticking to a healthy liquid diet,
I dutifully take grandpa's advice
Eight goblets of brandy for night's riot :
Be careful, he laughs, " migraine is the price!"

Who cares for peptic ulcer !
Who cares for migraine !
As lovely as you are,
one not falling in love with you
is nothing but insane !
But that insane i do want to be
head over heels,
be a forever lover of all your pain,
when will you have those eyes to see ?

What once was Golden inside and out.
Now stops my progression, within me I shout.
Everyday gets harder especially the start.
Just to be normal...with good health I can’t part.
A mystery prison has all specialists confounded.
Whilst I wait, in my mind and body I am bounded...
chiropractors
they are not the same
some are miracle workers
others make your soft tissues cry
one worked on me for minutes and my migraine left
I limped out of another chiropractor’s office unsure if I could walk
My back felt broken; I was in severe pain
This was the last one I ever saw
Oh, what a tangled web!
A man finds himself
caught in a love triangle.
Poor fella
I wouldn't wanna be him!
The two women with whom
he's madly in love
are giving him
an ultimatum migraine
Which one to choose?
What's his heart to do?
Decisions, decisions...

My head hurts with a pain that begs my body to shut down,
I am more than wanting to stop,
yet knowing that stopping will get me nowhere,
a cloud forms over my brow as a band tightens around my heart cinching my soul,
an ache so deep my ancestors know it's pain,
my head hurts,
if only I could sleep.
You are the pound of a drum, percussion inside of my head.
You are my cold, hardened pillow made of bricks; you are red.
You ruin me and I hate you. You are my cracking skull--
a build-up of bursting pressure. You are my gray, blurry
vision--you are my blindness. You are my undying nausea; you
make me so terribly sick.
-lost and can not find
something too far out of reach
just need a little
migraine pains they creep
black dog images appear
dry eyes blurred vision
no motivation
tossing turning twisted sheets
two dogs that can sleep
if only I could
for now I will close my eyes
pretending to sleep

Yesterday was a tough day
A Headache day
a Klutzy day
a delete an important email day
a delete a poem I hadn't saved day
a brain fog on migraine meds kind of day
a trumble down a few stairs kind of day
a missed Orchestra kind of day
but Today will be a better day
Starting off with determination for a fresh, new day!
A glimmer of hope flashes upon the horizon.
My mistake as the barbed wire plays a cruel trick,
audasity to think!
Reflection of a once happy childhood.
Now morphs into a migraine.
winter leaves now lay dorment in the gutter,
once the vouge.
kites crash and burn without wind,
the result of my deal with the devil pawned soul.
End.
